3* with 247  Composite ranking of 305. UofI is his best offer.

Not sure your source but The Daily Hoosier reported he had these offers as of 2 weeks ago.

DePaul, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, N.C. State, Maryland, St. Johns, Boston College, Oklahoma State, Dayton, and Pittsburgh have all offered Amzil to this point, with several other top programs reportedly showing interest.

3 star?Crean got smashed for recruiting these type players after we missed our main targets.

Not sure many foreign players are going to be highly rated especially if they aren’t on the AAU circus....I mean circuit. If kid can play he can play. But it also tells me we probably aren’t where we want to be on Miller too.

I wouldn't pay much attention to his rankings.  This guy just arrived in the States a month ago.  Hasn't had many eyes on him.  If he starts granting a bunch of interviews to the recruiting site "scouts" watch him soar in the rankings!

Personally I think it'd be quite hard to rank kids without ever having the ability to reevaluate and change. Near impossible actually.

Here are some highlights. He's got really good size and shooting form.

Got a good handle in the open floor for a big kid and uses both hands fairly effectively too...

But how in God's name do they discern anything on a floor marked like this one?

Shows a confident and consistent outside - wing shot. Like the short clip of him getting downhill with the ball, showed he can get out and run with the ball. He'll need strength and conditioning work, but these clips (which of course are just snapshots) also appear to show he has a pretty good eye/timing for the glass.

Exactly.  Look at who’s recruiting him.  That tells you more than some laughably arbitrary number next to his name.  The credence given to a particular ranking is a plague on college sports.
