Holy crap, I remember him, kind of knew him when I was a kid. He used to shop at the same guitar store I did.

His name is P.K. Lavengood. I went to high school with him and we still are friends. He has made a good name for himself on the Jersey shore.  Plays with John Eddie. Friends with every musician in Jersey.👍 A tremendous guitarist.

I have not been there this year for obvious reasons but last couple years it was full of young millennials behind the bar and customer wise.

I was one of the first customers for the Video Saloon and Buffalouies. Yes, the Video Saloon actually showed movies and served you alcohol during the showings. Buffalouies was next to where I worked so I got one of the first Italian sausages when they first opened. The old man was a good guy and really called most of the shots. Didn't know they moved to the Gables until just a few years ago. FYI , I was a manager for Hoosier Liquors and Bloomington Liquors so I probably served a bunch of you.😁

Nice(feel free to message me proof) lol.  Jake's had dime beer night every Thursday.  Oh the headaches you'd get from that Little Kings.  lol  Always had a good time there though.  Listening to Live music and trying to dance.   Who remembers the Oliver Syndrom and the Rod and Cones?

    Go Hoosiers!!!

I'm friends with the old guitar player for the Rods and Cone's. They still get together around Xmas and play in Indy.

Well, I’m back. Our daughter is insisting we take her down to The Other School today... need to figure out dinner plans after an afternoon walking the campus. Anyone know which of the above recommendations are or are not open for dine-in ?

If you want great steaks go to Janko's Little Zagreb's.  Unbelievable steaks and has been there for years.

  5. I am sad. For the first time ever, I went to del taco instead of taco bell. I have been eating at taco bell since 1975. I figured I have eaten at taco bell over 2000 times. Seriously.

In the 1980's my favorite item was the bell burger then it got cancelled ☹️. So I went to my next favorite the big beef burrito then it got cancelled. ☹️ I then went with a chicken taco and a tostada then they got cancelled. ☹️ Then I went to the Mexican pizza and now that for cancelled.☹️ Nothing left but beef tacos so might as well try Del Taco.

The new CEO is causing some waves. I hope he doesn't ruin the company.

“With the pandemic, there are a ton of out-of-towners planning to work remotely who'd like a big backyard and office space, which didn't used to be so high on their priority lists. They can get those things for around $400,000 here in the Phoenix area,” Mr. Wiederstein added.

Phoenix # 1 relocation spot. Good for @Colonialcrester home values at least.

I don't know where those are! Lots are teeny out here and prices are shooting up! But you can find some deals if you aren't picky about locations. My sister in law just sold their house and got 16 offers on the first day. Sold for an additional 20%. Here's my backyard...it is a nice office view!

I actually read about your friend and his trademarks.  The media was calling him a squatter.  Then I saw you point out he is your buddy and that he’s not looking for money.  Very cool!

I think he may be hoping for a little something...cover legal fees, maybe some tickets but he wasn't looking for big bucks. He is one of the smartest guys I know and he just has different hobbies.  He keeps offering the trademarks for free but nobody in the nfl will take them!!!

How long would a business stay open with that type of service. You can never get a person's name, they use faxes instead of email,  it is a giant black hole.

I am filing thru Virginia. They reply by mail. Seriously. You have to respond by snail mail.

Would it be possible for one of you to go in and update the Scholarship Grid thread that is pinned at the top of General basketball page?  @Zlinedavid has not visited the board since February 8th, so I don't think we can expect him to make the updates going forward.  It's a great tool and something the casual visitor, and potential member,  might find interesting

Need to add Lander and Duncomb

You want to make us work? During this pandemic? Let me get a mask on and see what I can do...

Yeah, don’t listen to me either, I was in the medical device field! I know practically nothing about pharmaceuticals!

Hey Drroogh!  We will have to compare notes!  I've been in pharma, medical device and specialty labs...from rep to national sales director...from start-ups to GSK.

Recently I was the national sales director for the largest private purchaser of vaccines in the U.S. and the largest travel medicine company in the U.S. We would have weekly meetings about disease outbreaks.  The company had this on their radar I believe around Christmas.  Also totally agree about streamlining the FDA. I could come up with the silver bullet cure for all cancers and it would still take 7 years to get it to market with 2 10,000 patient studies and that is if I paid to have it fast tracked.  The FDA does not know how to work fast.

Irish Whiskey, any good recommendations? I really like Jameson but it messes with my stomach the next day. I drank it a few times to see if it was the food I ate instead, but got the same result....

If you like wheat beer, have you tried Goose Islands 312? It’s their Urban Wheat beer that is one of my all-time favorites.

Any of the Redbreast are excellent. Much smoother than Jameson. IMHO.

I have no clue what the Lou is.  St. Louis is my guess.  And no idea what the ribest is either. But winning a ribfest in St.Louis is mighty impressive to me.  St. Louis style ribs... ummm.

Right on all accounts. Local St. Louis people sometimes call the city the Lou.  A Ribfest is a rib cook off.

Thank you for the hospitality. As a longtime Indiana taxpayer, as well as the spouse of a public school teacher, I sort of feel like I have a stake in all our state schools.

Plus one of my daughters has expressed in interest in heading south instead of north for college...

Is she adopted? Is that why she is the smart one of the family?

Sorry it was just too easy.😀
