Their loss is to #25. UMs loss was to #11.

Furthermore, if you ranked UM ahead of Bama last week... there was nothing yesterday that showed you that Bama should move ahead.

    Michigan beat #13 42-3.

If we're really trying to avoid a rematch, then just say it.

In the last two weeks, UM beat OSU just as bad as Bama beat UGA.... plus Bama absolutely got as lucky as I've ever seen a team get to beat a 6-6 Auburn team... and Michigan beat #13 by 39 pts 🤣🤣🤣

I don't disagree with any of what you said.  It just came down to them not wanting Cincy ahead of Georgia.  As soon as they announced Cincy at 4, everyone should have known Bama was 1.

I also think the other 3 teams are happy to have them at #1. Nobody wants to play Bama when they're feeling disrespected.  If Saban had his choice, I bet he would have rather been #2

Michigan was always going to play Georgia,  the ranking was irrelevant

    Ridiculous Bama jumped UM.

I figured that would be the case.  It had less to do with bama and michigan, more to do with them not wanting to put cincy ahead of Georgia.   This was about matchups, not really rankings... Michigan was playing georgia regardless

I hope Michigan wins the title and kicks 2 SEC teams' arszs in doing it.

I hope Notre Dame gets Ole Miss and kicks their arsz too.

Michigan has a legit shot.  I look for Georgia to regroup and come out swinging. I hope they put Michigan at one, because a motivated Saban team is a force, as Georgia just found out.

Miami will never come close to the $ Oregon will offer. This isn't a money call on Mario's part...it's a coming home decision. He's been back and forth from Oregon to Miami a few times last couple weeks. His Mother is fighting some illness.

We'll all find out soon enough I guess.

Yeah i understand why Mario would come back... he just doesn't blow my skirt up

Good deal. Didn't know I had another Cane on here. Get Radakovich (Clemson AD) today....Mario by tonight and we move forward with Tyler Van Dymes next year....if we do just those 2 things Canes could be back in business sooner rather than never.

I grew up a canes fan. Hated ND, so I sided with the convicts 😀

For years I've felt like the administration could care less about the program. Pretty much since the last probation issue...

I'm not huge on Mario. He has a ton of resources at Oregon,  and always seems to piss it away.

Miami needs a homerun hire. Unfortunately I don't think the administration is competent enough to pull it off

Technically I'm a huge Saban fan, he just happens to coach Bama.

When you don't have Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawrence as your pilot things can go downhill pretty quickly...haha.

My boy is a Notre Dame, Clemson fan. I'm a Bama, Miami guy. so we watch a ton of SEC, ACC football.  Clemson was showing kinks in the armor last season.  I agree its great to have those qb's, but they had issues with fundamentals that weren't being addressed by the staff

Sounds like Venables to Oklahoma and he'll take Ole Miss OC with him. Clemson has been on autopilot for years but seems like Dabo and Clemson will be hitting reset this off season. Not a bad thing. Every once in awhile programs can get flat.....some new blood might work.

Agreed. You could see issues with clemson last year. They just didn't look like themselves even then.

Hard to say a conference sucks if they're #4 overall. Honestly I think I'd consider them average. Jmo

If Clemson played Baylor/OKST/OU right now.. I think it's a 60 minute game.

Maybe sucks is too strong. Down is probably better...  but until Miami and FSU dig out of their hole, the ACC isn't going to garner much attention unless Clemson is contending for championships

I absolutely can.  Their best win is either Kentucky or a very weak Clemson team.  Not something to hang your hat on. Then they get smoked in their final game against their only highly ranked opponent this season.  Not a good look, and I actually kinda like Georgia and their fans.

Leaving Georgia out won't be a discussion. they were a lock regardless of today's outcome.  If ND were to get in (they won't) it would be over Cincinnati

Every single one of those points also applies to flu vaccines, but it’s only the COVID vaccine that is in people’s crosshairs.

People aren't losing their jobs over flu shots.  Or being locked in to "quarantine camps" ...  I am extremely happy people have the option to get a shot, just extremely disappointed it's trying to be mandated. There are risks with everything in life, nothing is 100% safe.   I think we are at 58% who have taken the shot. That number is topped out, as well as misleading.  58% did not volunteer to take the shot. A large portion took it due to the promise of not having to wear a mask anymore.  An even bigger portion took it in the face of losing everything they have. The unvaccinated are not the minority here. The longer the mandate gets put on hold, companies will change their position on it. We are already seeing it here. Even J&J has eased off their policies,  since the mandate was deemed unconstitutional and put on hold. I hope we make as many pills, shots, therapeutics, as humanly possible.  Make it all extremely easy to get and enough for everyone on the planet.

But piss off with the mandate, the quarantine camps, and anything else the resembles Nazi Germany

I'm just hoping for us to embrace an all encompassing solution...one that isn't just vaccine focused, lockdown focused, or experimental pills etc. Where we get to the point that we can attack this virus and defend ourselves with multiple methods and options...where people will have the freedom to choose the method of protection that best fits their conscious.

This is it, best post on the subject. That is all anyone could or should ask for.👍👍👍

Serious question. How many people will be analyzing the ingredients in those pills, will be frightened of the long term side effects, or concerned about how quick they come to market? If it is different, will that be because it's taken orally? Or perhaps that they don't have immediate short term side effects like the vaccines do? Or that they don't have to be taken preemptively?

It's probably a mix of all factors listed above. I'm all for these therapies, but I am curious to see if these get as vigorous of an examination by the public.

There will inevitably be some people who won't take the pills. But I think most will. Being able to treat the symptoms from the beginning,  will be a huge advantage I think.  I'm not a shot guy, but take pills for allergies everyday.  I don't see this as any different
