What’s funny is how quickly it all goes just completely the other direction. And it happens every time.
Every single time

This is just a polite request, not a directive: if you’ve been arguing the same point with the same people for 6 pages, perhaps consider that you don’t share the same viewpoint (which is fine and normal) and that more discussion won’t change that

Not throwing stones. I'm 100% a Woody guy. Just find it interesting how a lot of folks here(probably me included, haha) were all over CTC and Samscum when incidents happened. Seems we've given Woody a pass. Is that cause he's still new, a Knight guy or what?
Go Hoosiers!!!
I think it's because this is barely 24h old

It's a message board. People are going to say things you disagree with. All anyone can control is what they post.

Hey, let's not get personal here.

Hid a rule-breaking post. If you see something that breaks our rules, please don't quote (and further the spread) and simply report it. Thank you.

I have never, in my existence, known a human to actually order anything resembling a taco at taco bell.

I'm not busting your chops specifically, and I get that a message board is fundamentally people talking about something they know little about (basketball savants we are not...), but this one feels particularly hilarious if I am being honest. I'm definitely not a lawyer, just know enough to be dangerous, and some of the takes in here are comically bad.

I never knew we had so many lawyers on HSN!

Yeah, by no means trying to obsolve Mgbako of his behavior. He absolutely has to be better and seemingly double/tripled down on his poor behavior when the police gave him several chances to get out of there.
But with that said, just following along on X/Twitter, by all accounts this Taco Bell location is notorious for treating people terribly and having a horrible staff.
This Taco Bell has been notorious since I was in Bloomington about ten years ago

I thought he was our coach for life after 2020 and had no issue with the extension. But man, we had all the momentum in the world in recruiting and the transfer portal and 3 years later, we have are 2-20 in conference play since then. It isn't just an off year or two, this is venturing into Bill Lynch bad territory.
I'm not disagreeing - I just find it somewhat comical how quickly the winds can blow to some people. He couldn't have been so incredible in 2020 that he's so bad now. Maybe he was worse than we thought then, maybe he's better than it's showing right now, but nuance seems to be a bit lost in these discussions sometimes.

Great person, good leader of men.....needs better football minds around him to be successful.
Hard part of CFB is the coach movement. If you have a HC who is more of a leader of men (I agree), they can be great one season and terrible the next if... someone like DeBoer leaves

Allen is clearly struggling but my word, I am sure I could dig up posts here calling him Jesus Reincarnate in 2020.
It's a big, complex game. Nothing is as simple as a one sentence post on a message board

Kids also ate a tiny tiny portion of the sugar and processed foods that they do now, got tons more exercise at home if not worked and did chores, and no one sit in front of a TV/video game screen for hours on end. Kids went to bed exhausted because they were active and in fact teachers had more trouble keeping them awake more than sitting still in my experience.
married to a nutritionist and I will die on this hill: sugar and processed foods are worse than anything else.

What will happen will happen. Trilly matters. The CB following him doesn’t - never been a clearer indication of someone just following the tea leaves. It’s honestly a shocking example of how little those guys know.
Trilly and slater have proved their knowledge. Can’t say it’s a positive. But insiders are wrong plenty.

I think trying to say Woody has a better NBA pitch than Calipari is a bit of fool's gold. They both have incredible pitches on providing and nurturing a path to the league, but I'm not sure recruits would see much of daylight between them

we'll get a big time recruit from HS or we'll get them in the portal, NIL is a godsend for a program like IU. Have no fear

Bigger the publicity, the higher the NIL. These kids aren’t hurting one bit.

Yep... can't use "share" unless you copy it and change the "x" to "twitter"
@HoosierFaithful could you put an alias in the code replacing ".x." with ".twitter."?
we will give this a go too, this is now enabled, I am skeptical but can't hurt

On Twitter, click the share icon in the bottom right of the post.
Select the option for Copy Link
Paste that link here
Immediately press Enter/Return on your keyboard to go to the next line. This will be what embeds your tweet.
Only then hit Submit Reply.
Viola:
^^ this seems like the safest route for now!

sorry that the links aren't embedding like they used to, folks. Every indication is this is on Twitter's end - they are doing a lot of internal shuffling and it appears they might even intentionally be limiting access (?) which is odd but, alas, I'm sure a fix will come at some point

Look at how much the salaries have increased. They've far outpaced inflation. ~25 years ago Michael Jordan earned about ~$30M per year, a record at the time. Now the merely decent players are approaching that number. Very good but not great are earning far more. I expect salaries to increase over time but they ballooned.
I think you'd find similar in the NFL and MLB.
$30m in 1990 is over $70m today
