Well they were definitely a lot better the year before he got to IU and a lot better the year after he left.

I think next year could make Archie's 4th year look pleasant if things don't significantly improve. 

We need to improve 45 spots on KenPom to just reach where Archie's 4th year was. The largest jump we've ever had in the entire KenPom era besides Year 2 to Year 3 of Crean is 71 spots, which would "only" put us at 24 next year.... aka Michigan State or Wisconsin. 

After that jump, the next biggest is only 31 spots. If we only jump 31 spots next year I don't think Quinn Buckner or Mike Woodson will be welcome back in Bloomington.

Woodson was going nowhere. We can all cite the disappointments, other coaches, programs,etc...that have stuck with their coaches and gotten the subsequent results but at the end of the day IU was never going to fire CMW after 3 when they gave Archie 4....and Crean, and etc...

In terms of transfer. I expect IU to be a top destination this offseason. If we hit this is a quick fix...and if that fix happens the 25 class is locked and loaded as of right now.

If this is actually true, and the team gets beaten badly by MSU at home, then whoever leaked this did absolutely no favors to the coaches or players.

LIke.... shit is going to be so incredibly ugly if we get beat by double digits and it's already confirmed he is back.

Hypothetical, let's say this isn't actually final but you're Quinn Buckner and want to force it to happen, then you release this and dare Scott Dolson to fire him anyway.

Not convinced this is true for starters, but if it is, hope the folks that made this happen are right. If not, they are responsible for the damage it does, and the damage could be significant.

The line about Love at the time was Woody didn't tell him what he wanted to hear. Based on how this season has played out, what Love wanted to hear was correct and Woody was an idiot.

Since I am in truth-telling mode, Archie, bless his heart, is an inarticulate guy who isn’t particularly bright.  Great coaches have one thing in common, they are bright.   Archie was never IU material.   How QB could interview him and come to the conclusion that Archie was the guy is a major indictment against QB.

Dolson needs to do what he needs to do and work the other trustees.   QB needs to be cut out of this.  The full wrath of the IU fan base is coming for you if you don’t.   Don’t be naive, you will never defeat that.  No one is bigger than the university.  The Board has a duty to the university, not to themselves.

He got fired one year into a 5 year contract, and it wasn't just for the record. He was completely toxic in the locker room.
