I thought Mgbako did decent on defense but I didn’t make it a focus to watch him. Overall he still needs to continue to improve on that end though. Agree with you on Ware getting stronger and Mgbako getting us started early. Something that I find a little strange… several games now we have had 2-3 threes at the beginning of the game and then we seem to shy away from it the rest of the game. Auburn and Minnesota are the two I can think off at the top of my head. Not saying we need to shoot 20 a game, just an interesting observation of mine. I think it has to do with us scripting the first several possessions of the game if I had to guess.

It hurts us that he’s not as aggressive as he should be when he’s in. He doesn’t need to be option #1, but sometimes it feels like 4 on 5 when he’s in because he’s too passive. Regardless, he’s been better than X lately.

I’m worried about that too after watching the game. I don’t think we’ve really doubled anyone this season have we? My memory might be off on that but I think we may see some of that against Edey. I could see Cupps being a pest and coming up with a couple of steals that way. I agree on Sparks… I was actually gonna mention I’m surprised that we didn’t see any of him last night. I’m certainly not gonna complain about the shortened rotation but I thought he could’ve battled with Payne down low.
