  1. I kind of figured that, but I still can’t imagine Bacot would be happy hearing that. Sure TJD outplayed him, but as you mentioned he’s a dang good player himself (not to mention he was banged up a little).
  2. That’s kind of a slap in the face to Bacot
  3. Well he’s a dookie so he’d honestly probably prefer us to win. But in any other scenario you’re totally correct
  4. That’s arguably the most important thing in stopping them. I saw it with Duke and Gonzaga. They just didn’t box out (and if they did they did a terrible job at it). I don’t care how athletic you are you’re not out jumping the man on stilts. Plus it’s much easier to box them out if you don’t let them catch it 2-3 ft from the basket, give yourself some space to grab the board. edit: they had a combined 27 off rebs in those two games
  5. Minnesota at Virginia Tech Pittsburgh at Northwestern Penn State at Clemson Maryland at Louisville Syracuse at Illinois Wake Forest at Wisconsin Georgia Tech at Iowa Virginia at Michigan Ohio State at Duke Purdue at Florida State Rutgers at Miami North Carolina at Indiana Michigan State at Notre Dame Boston College at Nebraska
  6. Agreed. Can’t wait to beat down on UNC so I can get a break from all the Purdue adoration. I’ve got enough annoying PU fans as friends already.
  7. Hopefully the team can rally behind him now and gut a win out
  8. OSU just got saved from a fumble. Not that it matters because they throw an interception as I am typing this.
  9. Gonzaga looked pretty clueless on offense. Definitely not what I expected from a team that is typically well coached. Give credit to Purdue though they did well on defense. Clearly Gonzaga is not a team that can beat you by just chucking up 3’s all game long.
  10. Gonzaga shooting 29% from 3 and looking extremely mediocre overall
  11. Yeah he had a couple of bad misses tonight. Interestingly he was 8-10 from FT prior to tonight. (Just 1-6 tonight)
  12. Jordan was better playing without having his hands draped on the guy he was defending tonight. That and falling for pump fakes are his two biggest issues on the defensive end. Improve those two things and we won't have to worry about him being in foul trouble after 5-10 minutes of action.
  13. We talk about guys like JG, Tamar, and Gallo providing a spark off the bench, but it would be nice if we didn't need that spark and the starters played with the intensity necessary every time.
  14. Exactly why I went with XJ. Not to discredit Race; he stepped up when he needed to. XJ was great at getting the ball where it needed to be and wasn't selfish.
  15. Yeah took an elbow to the side of the head. Saw some blood on the towel but didn’t get to actually see his face.
