Troy Williams' TOV% in that Sweet Sixteen year - 19.1
Jordan Geronimo's TOV% this year - 19.1
It’s certainly a give and take with him. You could argue that in Woodson’s offense he would have less turnovers, no? Obviously hypothetical but Crean’s teams were always bad with turnovers.

He actually tied for the team lead in rebounding and steals too. He was a legit difference maker on that team.
It would be nice to have him on the wing this season

Was he just a role player though? He was the 2nd leading scorer on that team (not counting JBJ since he only played the early part of the season).
I didn’t realize that honestly. The seasons kinda run together once you get back far enough. I didn't want to make it sound like TW didn’t make contributions to the teams, but he also was never the man. Obviously still a really good player that was able to play professionally.

Pointing out the main reason that team went to the Sweet Sixteen. Thomas Bryant's development at the end of the year was a big factor as well.
While he may have not been much more than a role player on that team he still was a vital part of one of our top teams in the past 15 years. I would argue that is at least worth something. I understand your point though.

Edit: didn’t read the entirety of @5fouls post. Beat me to it

I mean I understand and appreciate Woodson’s demand for good defense, but it feels like we need an injection of offense and nobody on the roster gives me a lot of confidence that those needs will be met. Here’s to hoping I’m wrong.

Kauffman is my personal favorite out of the stadiums I have been to. Definitely worth a trip out there. PNC and Target Field are up there as well.

I'm reading on other sites that Pete Nance is thinking about leaving Northwestern...
Guess who his best friend is?
Kopp… wouldn’t be a bad pick up if either/both Thompson and TJD leave

I don’t know if I buy this but here’s a rumor on Twitter tonight.
For those wondering this is referring to Simas Lukosius, 6’6” freshman in the transfer portal. Averaged 6.8p & 3.3r at 22min/game. 28.6% from 3 on 105 attempts. Scored a career high 27 points in the Big East tournament win over Xavier.

This isn't meant at a jab to anyone on here, but Woodson isn't dumb. He knows how to run a team. Some specifics to how the NCAA works may be unfamiliar to him, but I'm sure he is smart enough to know how to manage his team and connect to players regardless of their age.

I would expect to hear an announcement in 2 to 3 weeks. I believe it will be Baylor.
Did Fife leaving have any impact or was this the direction it was heading regardless?

The NCAA can’t let us have nice things

How about Gillespie running over immediately to celebrate with his injured teammate. Good stuff right there

I can’t answer your question directly, but the one thing I have noticed is that a number of guys we have recruited have thanked Coach Walsh (usually with one of the assistants) on Twitter and elsewhere. Seems like he relates well to players. Now, he was obviously recruiting coordinator but that means he has good experience and likely (hopefully) is a plus on the recruiting trail.
Plus, he’s relatively young. Likely relates well to players which is obviously a good advantage

I’m also in the camp that is not confident JHS will start on day 1. It would obviously be great if he were ready for that role right away, but I’m always cautious about banking on freshman.
