Love getting to see all the pregame hype on TV, one good thing about not having anyone playing before us. 

For people at the game, how is the turnout? Doesn’t look too packed but there are still a few minutes until tip-off.

1 hour, 2 minutes. But who’s counting?

If you go back and watch the video of Coach Ya that was posted on twitter, Durr and Bates were both seen on the sideline at one point during their scrimmage. Durr was dressed but Bates didn't have a practice jersey on so take that for what it's worth.

I think we should all start throwing out the a little more respect for him and what he is accomplishing. Also.....I still haven't forgiven the Pacers for passing on him.

I would assume that his prediction is based off the assumption that IU is a larger brand than the average Div 1 school and our basketball team in general has a greater following. Thus, skewing the value higher for our athletes. As far as I know no numbers have been shared for our athletes.

You know basketball season is near now that injuries and whether or not Clif Marshall should be the SC coach is being brought up weekly! In all seriousness, I’m not concerned. At least not yet. No reason for guys to risk anything worsening before the season starts. If the injuries are legit and this continues long into the season then we should he concerned. But for now, I’m not worried about the staff being cautious on players’ health.

So basically other teams’ insiders are saying they’re not hearing anything and our insiders are very confident… that tells me all I need to know

It sucks that Rob and XJ have to face the consequences of this guys antics. Obviously a lot of fans would love to listen to this but may intentionally avoid it to spite this guy. This should be a wonderful NIL opportunity for these two and hopefully it wasn’t ruined by this “genius” marketing strategy.

Normally I try to find a bright side in games like this… I’m not sure there will even be one this game.

Normally I would agree but we’d still be 3-4. I know we’ve played a very tough schedule but that’s still a disappointing record considering preseason expectations.

All I’m going to say is I trust someone who’s made a career out of training athletes. In all sports, we are just more cautious than ever in preventing injuries from progressing further than necessary. Also, it’s preseason. No need to risk anything at this point. The players and team will be fine.

I would have to imagine we’re in the driver’s seat here. We are by far the best offer he’s received. With this offer I predict him ending up at IU, especially being a hometown kid.
