After a dismal season of Yankee baseball, I needed that, thanks....

Other than the fact 2004 was brought up, which as a Yankee fan I try to forget, Wakefield had the absolute best knuckleball I've ever seen thrown by a pitcher! He made a lot of hitters look foolish. Tip of the hat to Tim and RIP.....

Yankees should fire Cashman and hire the Braves GM....

But when we visit French Lick, it seems like yesterday....

As a Yankees fan, I feel your pain....

What a game between Duke and ND!! The Irish wins in the last 30 seconds of the game, scoring a TD to put the team in green ahead. ND pulled an "Ohio State" when, at 4th and 16, the QB ran for the first down, then on second down, the running back burst up the middle for the TD..... WOW!!

As a fan of IU sports, I cheer for pretty much all of them, B'Ball (both Men and Ladies), Soccer, Baseball. But I really, really, really want to like the football program, but man it's awful. I know there are those that have a hard time wondering why there sre "closet" Irish football fans, but at least it is an in state teamn.....

Didn't really follow the game because it was a road game at Jasper. But anytime you come away with a win like they did, it has to be good. Castle did not want to come home 3-3 record, 4-2 seems a lot better..... Also saw where North shutout Vincennes on the road 31 to zip

Winless Ev. Harrison and winless Ev. Central, played against each other last night. So somebody had to come out with a W and the Harrison Warriors pulled it out, winning a tight game 28-21.....

Realistically, with the 2 guys out, do you think the score would have been closer?

We as fans get caught up in what their favorite team does during the off season. I am guilty of this. So when Carlos Rodon hit the FA market, I, and most Yankee fans, really wanted the front office to get. They did, but this has turned out to be a disaster of a signing of epic proportions! He started a game tonight against the KC Royals. Now, are you ready for this?? The dude pitched 0.0 innings, gave up 8 hits, 8 earned runs, and an era of almost 7!!! Not too bad for a guy making over $160 million and 6 years!!! Should the Yanks get swept, it would be their worst record since '92!!! Can contracts be voided??? 😡

Geritt Cole probably put the finshing touches on the Cy Young award tongiht, (IMO), pitching a complete game in Toronto. Cole allowed 2 hits and threw 105 pitches and finished his season with an AL best 2.63 ERA!!! And Aaron Judge, who missed almost 2 months, smacked 2-2 run homers in a 6-0 win! Guess what team has the best record in the MLB since late August? Anyone care to guess? Why it's none other than the NEW YORK YANKEES!!! Too bad it was too little too late 😒

With the Yankees loss today against the D'backs today, they have been officially eliminated. You guys have fun rooting for your teams that may still be in contention for any post-season. As Cub fans would say..... Wait 'til next year...

Yanks aren't going anywhere this post season, but Aaron Judge smacked 3 homeruns in last night's 7-1 win over the D'backs. It is Judge's second 3 run homer in one game this season, the first player in franchise history to do so!!
