  1. He was decent when I played against him in 8th grade. Gave us fits haha.
  2. True story Oden and Conley are my grade and I played against their junior high team (Craig Middle School I think) in 8th grade. We got dunked on and it wasn’t even Oden or Conley. It was some other guy that ended up playing at Valpo lol. One of my good buddies was our center (like 6’5 played baseball at Purdue and in the minors) and our first offensive possession Oden swatted it into the bleachers against him haha.
  3. Easily. If it was football only, that’d be a different story but combined you’re absolutely right. Shit throw in the other sports too while you’re at it. Insane talent.
  4. Will be really interesting to see what happens with Washington. If I had to guess as of right now, I’d think it comes down to MSU and Purdue.
  5. MIC is beyond legit and yes I’m biased being a former MIC athlete haha.
  6. Pretty comparable. Vic is a career 35% 3-point guy and Levert is 34%. Pacers have plenty of shooters.
  7. And didn’t have a serious injury like Vic IIRC.
  8. No doubt. I think he can thrive in Indy. Once we get healthy, our depth will be insane. Brogdon/Levert/Warren/Sabonis/Turner then we have Lamb coming back alongside both Holidays, and Doug McD. Love it.
  9. Vic likely wasn’t going to re-sign with the Pacers anyway after the year so at least we got a really good piece for him.
  10. I honestly really like the move. I really liked Oladipo but Levert is younger and is under control until 2023. I think he’s going to be really good.
  11. It’s been awhile since they’ve been so weak up front. Seems like they always have a Tillman/Payne/Davis but they’re lacking big-time. Losing Winston hurts a lot too.
  12. Didn’t help that Brogdon missed like 8 layups.
  13. Mikal Bridges isn’t this good holy crap. Best game of his life.
  14. Here’s a legit question: how bad does Crean have to be to get fired at Georgia?
  15. No doubt. Ours just happened to be at the beginning of the schedule.
  16. Williams was dominant. Big reason why we had a chance.
  17. Ugly win but definitely a big one especially for confidence for some of the younger guys. Never easy to win in EL.
  18. Our schedule gets easier for sure but it’s been brutal so far. With not playing Nebraska this week at home, our last five games went at Iowa, MD at home, at Rutgers, at Illinois, at MSU, and then we play in Bloomington next week. That’s a brutal stretch.
  19. He’s still getting used to big-time basketball and he’s had foul issues too. 14 minutes for a freshman big isn’t awful IMO.
  20. Def bummed we didn’t land him as he’s a stud. Edey turned out to be a diamond in the rough though. He’ll be really good for us.
