It was over and back but you're really going to complain about the only bad call that went against Purdue? The officials probably thought the same thing the announcers originally thought, that the Purdue player touched it.
Like I said in the earlier post, I do think overall we got a favorable whistle. Just thought that was a big moment to miss what seemed to be an obvious over and back.

Holy crap, I knew Purdue's schedule was easy with Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin once, but they also only play Rutgers and Northwestern once.
We play all of those teams twice except Wisconsin.
Going into the season, only playing NW once was probably viewed as a negative. Things obviously have changed since then. We have Iowa, Illinois, and Rutgers on the road though and don’t get a chance for redemption at home.

You guys got the bevy of calls, so I wouldn't complain if I were you...
That’s a pretty big and obvious one to miss. But we did benefit from some calls that aren’t typical on the road that’s true.

Like I said Scott, glad you are here to set me on the proper path.
And btw, it’s fine to discuss B1G games. I just am not going to welcome a Purdue fan here. Can you discern the difference?
There’s a difference between not welcoming someone versus commenting “no one cares” on all my posts.

was that not over and back when the dude dribbled off his foot?

Not making any difference right now...29-20 Scarlet Knights
Rutgers shooting out of their ass. Not a good sign haha.

I didn’t watch the game since earlier on PU was dominating
Maryland hit a lot more 3’s and we were ice cold to start the 2nd half. Maryland’s lack of a legit big guy hurts them.

Purdue led by as many as 15 in the first half.
Williams was in foul trouble all game which hurt. Newman was unreal today. Easily our best player.

Go from being an NCAA All American and getting drafted in the NBA, to being a 400+ lb. drug dealer in Whitley county.
What a loser.
What a pathetic thing to say. Jesus man. He wasn’t dealing either.

Didn’t want to create a separate thread for this so figured I’d share it here. Unfortunately Caleb Swanigan was arrested in Fort Wayne for drug-paraphernalia charges. He’s put on a lot of weight (416 lbs) and it’s extremely sad. It sounds like him and Barnes had a falling out and Caleb has been struggling. His time at Purdue and before that living with Barnes was really the only time he had structure in his life. I hope he gets things turned around especially with what he went through in his childhood.

Horrible. There were a lot of other unforced turnovers and at times your defense looked like Swiss cheese. Not sure they could’ve won it like that. The announcers were even lauding Iowa’s defense. Haha.
That game had to be maddening for you @Stlboiler23. Heck, it was for me and I hate Purdue.
Oh no doubt. But if you would’ve told me before the game started that we’d hold Iowa right 70, I’d have felt pretty good about our chances you know?

Man, Purdue does not look good tonight. Every time they start to get a little bit of momentum, they shoot themselves in the foot.
That Stefanovic pass was one of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t screw that up who knows how the game ends.

Kid can shoot.
Amen haha. I’m thinking/hoping he can be a mix between Cline and Mathias tbh.

My viewing of Jacobi is very, very limited. I have seen plenty of Goode via TV. So I catch the "highlights". The thing about Goode is he is so dang skinny. The weight thing catches my eye as does the lack of foot speed.
Thoughts on Loyer?

Yep, but PU has his position pretty well stocked. If I had to guess he will go tp MSU
I think they’re positioning it as a “you’re the last piece we need for a deep tournament run.” I’m sure MSU will have that position pretty well stocked too. I think Brandon Brantley will really help us here as he’s from Gary as well.

Illinois got screwed on that flagrant call.

Have no idea but with you guys already having Kaufman and Furst it seems you have that position taken care of.
We’re still going to go hard after him I’d think.
