Yeah, I think they will wait for Fickell and if he turns them down, then they have to go after Freeman. I would think that Matt Campbell is the third option. Fickell has said before that OSU and ND are the only 2 jobs he would leave Cincy for. Does them making the CFP and potential National Championship game make him reconsider though is the question. You've got to believe ND has people in contact with Fickell or his people to make sure he still wants the job before they decide to wait it out for him. I don't think they would want to lose out on Freeman by waiting for Fickell if he isnt going to take the job.

It definitely seems to explain some of the information when BS was rumored to be the taking the IU job, but then had that weird Masshole press conference. Maybe he was ready to take the IU job, but was then promised the front office job to keep him with Celts. Regardless, I am happy with Woodson so far. And I am surprised to see BS leave coaching.

That video says a lot. Not sure I have seen joy and love from all the players to a coach like that before.

I'm excited about Kopp after watching that video. He seems to have massive heart, work ethic and toughness. He seems to get IT. If he wants to be on the court, he has to outwork everyone else. He has to go through the process to achieve his goal. This team the past few years seems to have lacked that heart and toughness for the most part. Players seemed like they felt entitled to minutes and to playing. I'm not sure they respected the process like Kopp seems to. I think his attitude and work ethic will drive the others on the team to meet his drive or they won't play. He talks and sounds like a kid who played for Coach Knight. I believe that is what Coach Woodson is looking for. Maybe he isn't the most athletic guy on the team, but he is going to work so hard that you can't not play him. And he will understand if he gets benched why it happened and he won't complaint. That desire to not be there again on the bench will drive him to work even harder so that he can be in the game. Very excited to have that kind of player on this team, the kind that leads by example and works his @ss off.
