Watching the Mavs Doncic just makes me feel how it seems the Pacers can not ever get lucky enough to be able to be in position to draft super stars. Besides Reggie I can't remember the Pacers drafting a guy who became a true star. Even back in the 80's when the had a lot of top 5 picks it never worked out. If PG had not wanted out and kept his head then maybe we would had another one. When you are good enough to compete for the playoffs every year you are never going to have a chance at top picks.

Great game with the Clippers/Mavs. Turned it on when it said the game was going to OT. Actually did not even realize the game going on but with 19 seconds lefts the Mavs are up 2 and Donic has 40,17,13. Wonder how often the Hawks regret trading him away or other teams on passing him.

Have no idea but hard to believe you can go a whole game without a strikeout. Today you have a hard time going a half inning without a strikeout.

Also in the playoffs you get scouted a lot better than in the regular season so you have to be able to change what you are doing.

I guess some of the reason he is good in the regular season is that he beats up on the bad teams. His 17-35 playoff record should tell you how he does against top teams.

What the heck was McMillian doing taking the ball out of Brogdon's hands the last few possessions. He was getting to the basket at will but the last 4 possessions the put the ball in others hands. This is at least 8 straight playoff games they have lost.

Terrible possession down 3 with VO dribbling touch and then pulling up for3 and missed. Have to have the ball in Brogdon's hands.

That last possession could have lost the game for the Pacers. Down 6 with the ball an VO coming off a screen but Turner got in the way and Miami got the loose ball. Miami had a broken play that ended with a 3.

Good 3rd quarter for the Pacers and Brogdon with close to a triple double

I don't know if it is not having the normal second unit but McDermott and Justin Holiday is not shooting like they did during the season.

Just a few things I heard locally that makes it sound like he is looking to leave and maybe go to Miami. Also Vic started getting more interested in his music makes me think he would want to go where you can promote that better.

The reason.I would trade him is that he will be gone on a year once he is a free agent. As a smaller market team you just have a level that is hard to get past in the NBA. Unless you get lucky in the draft like San Antonio or now Milwaukee where you get a super star. We will see Milwaukee in a couple of years losing Gannis to free agency. Also with Vic I am getting the same feeling I got from PG where I think he no longer wants to be here in Indy.

Spolestra is totally out coaching McMillan in this series. McMillan can't figure out how to stop their offense and they are getting wide open shots. They actually have player movement and off the ball screens.
