Today was my last unemployment check with the $600 so it will start to get more difficult. Hopefully they will get some kind of unemployment benefit for us. I know some say get out and find a job but it is not as easy as that sounds. I have applied for numerous jobs but have not got any call backs.

I still don't feel 100% and have had so many test on my heart and my lungs. I have no idea if this came from having the virus or just a coincidence.

Pacers looked pretty good today in beating the Maverics.

He was supposed to be in the 2021 class but reclassified last year.

17 assist in one game is impressive but the 6.6 points and 42% shooting not so much

I just see a lot of former IU players who has great careers in things other than sports who probably were helped out because they played at IU.

I know it was financially based but this is why I thought it would just be for the best if they just cancelled this season. I think with them playing this year and going so late it will interfere with two seasons instead of one. They should just have planned for next season to start its normal time in late October. I think playing this year you will see more injuries where players were not physically ready to play and it will hurt the teams for next year as well.

You don't think if he played 4 years at UCLA and had a very good college career and lead UCLA to great seasons he would not have the same possibilities. I would think there would be more job opportunities for him if he stayed at UCLA with all of their alumni.

Not looking real positive for the Pacers. Yesterday none of their top 3 big men played. I don't know what was wrong with Goga or Turner and Sabonis was at the game yesterday.

I just looked at TJ Leaf's contract and it was only for a guaranteed 7.4 million so I don't know where you got the 20 mil from. Also you should watch Jalen Roses podcast talking about what every young athlete should know before turning pro. He talked about how you think you are getting all of this money but after taxes and all of you other expenses it is not as much as you think. He said you have to pay your agent, then you have a business manager and a lawyer plus others like trainers and nutritionist He then went into all of your old friends who you will feel like you have to take care of since they were there for you before you were rich..

Not me, rather get my college basketball experience then move on to the pro but that is just me.

More reason to stay and play college basketball and get your degree. You can always go over seas and play pro ball there but you only have a short period to play college basketball.

I guess we will just disagree on this topic because everyone already knows my viewpoint on this topic. It is about what you want is it just getting paid or is it waiting until you can compete.

To me he is a poster child for staying in school and not jump right into the NBA. if he would have stayed a few more years and got better physically and mentally he would have came in with more confidence in himself.

Pacers won by 3 but the last 5 minutes we pretty much had the very end of the bench in. We had Bowen, Johnson, Long, Sumner and Leaf and Sumner is the only one would see any serious playing time. To me it is time to pull the plug on Leaf because he could not do anything against the Trailblazers subs.

Might not be feasible but it would be the best solution to stop the virus.

He looked pretty good on his second stint. It seems like McMillian is playing two separate units so the starters played most of the first quarter and the other unit played the second. Our bench in the first played a lot better than the starters but in the 3rd the starters looked good. Late in the 3rd we brought in the bench and the Trailblazers kept their starters in and the second un it held their own.

Well the Pacers was down 2 at half but the third quarter they came out hitting and now is up 9

Trying to watch the scrimmage game between the Pacers and Trailblazers but it is hard getting into this game. I knew Sabonis is injured but I have not seen Turner in the game so I was wondering why he is not playing. I saw a picture of Turner put fishing the other day so I figured he was good to go. Pacers started Johnson and Sampson up front to go with VO, Brogdon and Warren. Right now the Pacers are not looking to good being down 9 at the end of the first.

I am hoping to get two of them and hope it is Thornton and Smith.
