  1. Probably just me but I just can't get into the NBA like I use to
  2. Well it use to happen and that is why college and pro basketball is not as good of a product that it use to be. I still enjoy watching it but there is no doubt the actual product is not what it use to be.
  3. Well Vic is 6"4 compared to PG who is 6'10 so that is not even a good comparison. Durrant played the 4 a lot and it is not like he is some massive big buy.
  4. Not going by just this one game but I don't think that team was put together well. It is not a balance team where they pretty much have no guards and all front court players.
  5. Yes to me that is very selfish and I don't want me players in the organizations. I know yuo love PG and think he can't do any wrong but I can't stand him.
  6. I would say it is time for the Sixers to break up the nucleous of that team. There is no way they should have lost to the Pavers tonight. They put rebounded the Pacers by 25 tonight and Embid had 39 and 22.
  7. Pacers down by 10 with 8 minutes to go then score 39 points in the last 8 minutes. Outscored them 46-34 in the 4th quarter
  8. Great win tonight for the Pacers to win this game 127-121 and TJ Warren scoring 53 points.
  9. TJ leaf has to be the worst NBA player in the league. This game shows that we need to replace Turner with a better center because ever time he goes against a top big he doesn't show up. He has 4 fouls and probably played less than 15 minutes.
  10. I have decided to cancel my trip to Hilton Head mainly because it is to dangerous to travel with a baby.
  11. Just saw a horrible call where Sixers star Simmons had the ball and slipped to the floor and stood back up with the ball in his hand. when did this stop being a travel. Pacers in trouble because our only Size in Turner went out with his 4th foul a minute into the half. Sixers has 4 guys over 6'9 playing while right now the Pacers tallest is 6'8
  12. So far it is looking good for the Pacers and can't believe with the lineup the Pacers are putting out thee. Up 61-55 at half against the Sixers and they and the Pacers are without 2 guys who started the most of the year(Brogdon, Sabonis and Lamb). Throw in that Turner did not play much of the first half because of foul trouble it is amazing they are winning. This team is fun to watch and it seems like they are a college team where they fight and scrap for ever possession.
  13. Kareem could take 3 steps to get into his sky hook but was never called for it. Also Magic would carry the ball all the time yet it was not called.
  14. I guess my viewpoint comes from being a Pacer fan from a small market because I have seen these things from the time I can remember.
  15. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on this topic because I just saw it differently than you did.
  16. Serious as I can be because I witnessed it myself Bird and Magic got all the calls as did Dr. J and all of the other stars of the 80's
  17. I have always been a Pacers fan but I liked MJ so I watch the Lakers as well. The stars has always got the star treatment from the refs
  18. I think since you are a Celtic fan you probably are not use to being on the other end of this treatment. For years the Celtics and Lakers players were given this treatment so maybe it is time for the Celtics to be on the other end.
  19. I will watch the Pacers game tonight but haven't watch more than 5 minutes of any of the other NBA games so far.
  20. The NBA has always been like that because the stars always has gotten the calls. As a Pacers fan I have witness it to many time over the years when playing against teams like Celtics, Bulls or Knicks over the years.
  21. I lost any respect for PG when the team asked him t play the 4 and he refused to do it. To me that is sign of selfishness and the me first attitude that many players have today.
  22. It would be hard to do football in a bubble because it would be hard to have enough fields in one area. Also it would be hard to have more than maybe 2 or 3 games on a field in a day where the NBA can have probably 4 or 5 games on each court in a day.
