If we actually win a championship then I doubt you would see any complaining. If you try to go all in and do OAD like UK or Duke and not win multiple championships then yes I would come on here and complain.

But it has showed lately that teams that wins the championships don't have one and done players on them. Also if it is just one OAD player that is alright but I don't ever want us to be built around OAD players like UK and Duke.

I would rather us not get anymore OAD players as well. I would take the low 5 star or high 4 star players who will stay a few years like have at UNC. Until this year UNC had not had many OAD players and have won a lot with those type of players. I want to build our roster the way UVA and Villanova as well because it is easier to stay on top.

I think you can attribute a lot of that on the instant gratification crowd we have today and social media. I know it has been hard the last 25 years of IU basketball and we all want to get back on top but we as fans should not put ourselves in the way and be part of the problem.

You can look at the Pacers of the late 80's and early 90's where they were probably more offensively talented than in 1994. Two trades changed the chemistry of that team even though we probably got less talented players. We traded Check person for Sam Mitchel and Pooh Richardson and we traded Detlef Schrempf for Derrick McKey. After those trades we went for getting beat in the first round every year to going to the Eastern Conference finals.

Maybe not on true talent but I would take Kemba any day over Kyrie and I also believe he is an upgrade for the Celtics.

Maybe RMK coming back might be what is needed for this program to turn the page. I don't really believe in curses but it seems like after we fired RMK pretty much everything after that has bee disaster.

Yes it is watered down because there are plenty of players on rosters that are not NBA quality players. With 24 teams the talent would be dispersed more evenly and every team would have a few quality players.

Well most of those teams have been in the league for years and have some very good history in the league. I was trying to get 3 in the Western conference and 3 in the Eastern conference

Well I doubt that was the case when they came into the league and that draft day trade was not bad at that time. No one knew that Kawahi would turn into what he has turned into when he came into the league.
