Atlanta, Orlando and Miami all places where people transplant to. I know some people from around here that moved to Charlotte and they say a lot of people move into their as well. Memphis and New Orleans just don't really support their teams unless they are really winning.

I am going by how those teams are supported and most of the people that live in those areas are transplanted form elsewhere. They did not grow up fans of those teams and don't support them and some just goes their to support their hometown team when they come in for a game.

To me they need to get rid of 6 franchises and go back to 24 which will never happen. These are the teams to contract if it was up to me. Orlando or Miami Atlanta Charlotte New Orleans Memphis Sacramento

If I were OKC I would be pn the phone trying to get more players and draft picks for Westbrook. I don't think you will ever win the championship with Westbrook on your team.

This kind of thing is what makes me dislike the NBA more and more because players are running the asylum.

I get that but none of the players you mentioned would have gotten us 1st round picks. Also if you have two second round picks you won't move up to the top 15 in the draft with 2nd round picks. Also teams that you could get high draft picks was not going to take on these players so you would be getting low picks from title contenders for those players. You can make a major move up in the draft if you were like Atlanta this year when you had 8, 10 and 17 in the first round but you are not able to move up where the Pacers are picking usually.

I guess we just will disagree on this one. Also you can move up far enough in the first round with second round picks to get a quality pick. to me anything after the top 12-15 those picks are just not worth trading up for.

No it was not over at that time because the first month or so after the injury we were still winning a good clip and was in 3rd. Like I just said in another post if we finished 3rd we would had a great chance of winning the first round matchup. None of the players we could have traded would have gotten a 1st round pick so I am not worrying about losing a couple of 2nd round picks.

I would agree with you if we was battling for the 7th or 8th spot but at the time of the trade deadline we were playing really well and was 3rd in the East.

Because last year he was not ready and I have seen very few who really think he will be an all star caliber player. Most playoff teams does not play rookies during the playoffs if they don't need to and this year the Pacers did not need him to play.

It came out yesterday that the 1st round pick is lottery protected from 2020-2025 so I guess if the Pacers make the playoffs it will be next years 1st round pick.

I am hoping eventually they will trade one of Turner or Sabonis because I don't see those fitting well together in the lineup. If you package one of them with Holiday I think you could get a very good player back
