With VO missing until at least January I don't see the Pacers contending on the East this year.

Did not realize this stat about Brogdon but he was just the 10th player to have a season shooting at the 50/40/90 meaning shooting over 50% from the field, 40% from 3 and 90% from the line

I am not a real die hard NBA fan but a Pacer fan and I like the Brogdon move because he is just a really good shooter and plays very smart. He is not a flashing player but he just knows how to play the game and can really shoot the ball. I also like the Warren pickup on draft night because he can be a 3 or stretch 4 who also can shoot well from 3. I would think Lamb would start at the 2 until VO gets back and should do a fine job until VO gets back.

Had not heard about Lamb since I have been talking on the phone the last 45 minutes. Sounds like two really good pickups especially Brogdon. I had seen one guy on YouTube predict the Pacers getting Brogdon and I was in favor of it.

As a Pacers fan I am more worried if we can keep Bojan now that a player like Harrison Barnes can get 4 years/84 Million. I think BoJan is better so that could be the type of money he might get.

I know you really like the NBA so I ask you this do you think this kind of movement is good for the NBA. To me things like this is why I have lost so much interest in the NBA the last 10 or so years. Teams like the Jazz who got Stockton and Malone and was able to keep that team together for years and to me that was good for the league. The Pacers were able to keep their nucleus together for years and was able to compete.

Well it looks like the Nets will be signing Irving, Durant and DeAndre Jordan as well as Garrett Temple

It appears that the Pacers will be singing Ricky Rubio come 6pm tonight. Hs is a good ball handler and passer but can't really shot so I don't know about this signing. Also read where Utah is looking at Bojan so if we lose him then we will have a hole at the 2 and the 3. I guess Warren would be the 3 but we need to get a great shooter to play the 2.

They were talking on local radio the other day with Doyel of the Star and talking about why top free agents have no interest in coming to Indiana. One of the reasons seemed way off and don't believe it but he said the politics in Indiana has turned off young NBA players. Also stated the fact that there is very little night life and the weather is not desirable. There are no beaches or mountains or that much to do in Indiana.

So much for the theory that the NBA is not about the big market teams. All of the big time free agents are only considering big market teams and don't see the names like the Jazz or the Pacers mentioned. On ESPN radio they were talking what would a perfect off season would be for the NBA and they talked about how the Lakers getting another top player plus having teams like New York and Brooklyn getting a couple of the top free agents. They talked about how this would be the best for the NBA with having all the top markets having top players and competing for the titles.

I find it funny that ESPN is already reporting some of these deals for players are almost finalized even though you can't start negotiate until Sunday at 6PM

Well other teams know that the Rockets have to get rid of salaries to get Butler so they are not going to get top value for their players.

The Pacers received 4 future 2nd round draft picks on draft night so I would package a couple of them to Houston for Eric Gordon.

You might be right but at this time I would go with a guy who has some inside info that works in the NBA

Listened to the Pacers beat writer yesterday and he has been told by some people that Durant will probably end up with the Knicks

In all seriousness I think if Kawahi leaves Toronto after winning a championship and being the MVP of the championship then something is seriously wrong with the NBA system. It could also just be the mentality of the players today that they care more about marketability than winning especially if Kawahi goes to the Clippers or Knicks.

I am still holding out hope that Kawahi will want to come to the Pacers LOL!

If I were Philly I would just try to resign Butler instead of trying to do a sign and trade.

Sounded like the Pacers came real close to signing Redick last year but at the last minute Philly raised their offer
