They have a lot of them around the Houston area...
I've had them, but there's a reason I didn't bring them up...Not that good...
Have to agree with you. I had Raisin Cane's once. Out of curiosity. That was enough for me. However, I understand that there are a lot of people like it.

There is a chicken place in Enochsburg, Indiana that has the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. Not sure if it is still open as it has about 5 years since I feasted there.
Jeff. Looks like it is still there. But closed on Sundays.

I've had all 3 mentioned, KFC used to be king but of those 3 today, Popeye's.
I dont have access to any of them right now so Its Gabes Deli fried chicken at the local IGA. Very good. And I like mine crunchy.
No Gabes Deli or IGA in Colorado, to my knowledge. But did check out their website. And looks delicious to me.

Chik-fil-A hands down.
Though I only been there once.....I love the fact that they are closed on Sundays.
Growing up in Gary, Indiana.... most businesses were closed on Sunday. What ever happened to that ?

My favorite is a place called Slim Chickens. Killer chicken tenders and great sides. And desserts like strawberry shortcake in a Mason jar...A lot of them here in Texas...Colorado has 2 (Centennial and Aurora)...None in Indiana though...
Slim Chickens. Never heard of them. Gonna have to try them, upon your recommendation. Checked their website. One open in Aurora, Colorado. The other much closer to my house is "soon" to open. Will keep checking. Thanks for telling me about Slim Chickens.

Forgot about Chick-fil-lay. I know many like them. Have eaten there only once.
Here's a vid of my fav:

I like them all. But... Popeyes is my fave. Sadly, the Popeyes closest to me closed a few years back.
Our local grocery store cooks up some Chester's fried chicken every day... which is pretty good as well.
So... Hoosier Sports Nation.... what's your fave.. and regular or crunchy ?

Good old Columbia House! A Terre Haute facility that fueled many a vinyl and cassette collection!
I really like the old fashioned look of that.
I do as well. Got it at Walmart. Checked. They still have it on line, if not in the stores.
Side note. Though this has an old fashioned look to it. Still have several real old time pieces of furniture in my house... owned by my parents. That I have had refurbished. One is the 13 piece dinner table and chair set that sits in our dining room for special occasions, like for Thanksgiving dinners, and other things.... that is now over 100 years old. And a Stromberg Carlson high boy radio set that my parents drove to Chicago to purchase, before we had a tv.... and when they turned it on, when they got home.... we learned about Pearl Harbor.
Spent many nights listening to old time radio on that set. Before we had the first tv on our block. Which I also have.

Anyone here still spin vinyl? I started rebuilding my collection about 15 years ago - after a cousin sold all my albums when I was in boot camp. 😠
I must have over 100 LP's stored in my basement. Along with as much or more 45's. And that's where they have stayed for years. But I do have a way to play them in my office. (Pic included)

Not anymore. They've made me mad yet again. I've been 3 yrs with no Taco Bell before because of their dumb doritos locos menu. Their constant menu changes is tiresome.
We went one last time before the change. At the end of the day it's some crap wrapped in a tortilla or put in/on a shell. They literally already have all the ingredients to make anything that was on the menu. It's the same 7ish ingredients just in different combinations.
I hear you about the constant menu changes. However... I most often stay basic. If the wine comes to the U.S... gonna have to give it a try.
We have a Taco Bell, and a Del Taco about equal distance from the mile house. One East the other West. I have liked Del Taco, but have not been there for years.
Just West of our Local Taco Bell. We have a Torchy's Tacos. Perhaps the best Mexican food among the three. AND they have a bar serving adult beverages.

Have been to Penguin Point. But it has been so many years back.... I can't remember what I ordered. All I remember is that it was good enough to go back again several times.
As for your link on Lee's. Thankyou. Checking their website.... looks to be primarily a Midwest franchise. None in Colorado.
