Hey, a new list!!
We've had chicken wings, chicken sandwiches and hole in the wall chicken but not The Fried Chicken everyone is talking about!
I think somebody with a good chicken recipe needs to head to North Dakota or Virginia
They listed for Colorado. The White Fence Farm. Which had by far the best fried chicken in the state. However, sadly... the owners closed up shop so developers could build high rises on the location.

As a kid I was a Bob Netolicky fan, but from a talent standpoint Roger Brown and Big Mac are hard to beat.
You named some mighty fine players there.
Amazing fact.... I just found out. Netolicky once played one game for two teams. Game time trades happen.

Not that this has anything to do with anything. Other than this is an NBA thread.... and it seems we have many Pacer ( or as you you refer to them.... "P" fans )... I ask who is you all time fav "P" player ?

I have been bed ridden for 2 days. Got tested today. Hope for the best!
I ran a fever for most of last week. Don't think it was Covid related. Think it was due to the heavy smoke in the Denver area due to the wild fires. Rest of the mile family impacted by the smoke as well. At times blocking out the sun... as bad as it gets.
Blue.... take care. Will be praying for you.

October 11th, 1975..."Saturday Night Live" debuted on NBC
And it has never been the same since. Used to be must watch tv. Now it's must forget tv. IMHO. Don't mean to offend anyone. Used to love to watch it. Now.... it's unbearable.

I’m not sure if the bits of hair are a Snapchat type filter or an unveiling after a Rogaine treatment. The look on the guys face has me leaning toward the latter.
Looks like Dan Dakich to me. That's scary enough.

Made me think of the old Belushi SNL samurai skits...
After being in the military for so long, I cannot stand having my hair long. Mine was longer than it had been since 1980 a couple of weeks back because of the virus...finally went and got it shaved to the nub about 3 weeks ago...
As far as barbers go, when I first joined the USAF, I'd spend a couple of minutes telling the guys at the base barber shop how I wanted it...they'd say, "Oh yeah?" Then zip, zip, zip "That'll be 6 bucks."
I remember my first hair cut at basic training in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Those barbers were brutal. Literally. Skin heads for every one. Zip, zip, zip. Done in a matter of seconds. And most left with bleeding heads. Really.

Not a great list so far so hopefully some others will be involved. Of these 3 I would take Chauncy Billups because we have 1 former HC who has been fired twice. Another has been an assistant at NO who coach was just fired.
I am a big fan of Chauncey. Watched him in high school at Denver's George Washington high school. Then followed him to the University of Colorado. And of course into the pros. He always was an exceptional player... winning many awards in high school and college. However... the thing that always stood out for me is that he is truly a humble and good guy.

Did your barber ever do a straight razor shave? Until I went to college I had 1 barber. His name was Ron. He did 20 yrs in the Army as a barber.
Went for a haircut one year when I was younger and had peach fuzz coming in. Ron asked if I wanted a shave. Sure. Why not. So got warm shaving cream on my face and a straight razor shave sharpened by a leather strop. About as old school as it gets.
They did shaves. I never got one. First barber for me in that shop was a lady barber. Jackie was her name. And she was great. When she left... I got the owner of the shop. And as I said... the prices kept going up and up... til I quit going.

My wife started cutting my hair, at least what's left of it, this year because of covid.
I used to color her hair, to save money but she doesn't know that, until she traded massages for hair stuff.
But tonight was the first time I tried a cut and style. She's only had her hair done twice this year and was getting impatient. I think I did a pretty good job but she still hasn't looked in the mirror to verify. Find out in the morning I guess.
Many prayers to you and your wife. I remember the first time she cut you hair. And the picture you posted on Hoosier Sports Nation. Thought she did a good job. My son has been cutting my hair for years now. Long before the pandemic. Because the barber I had gone to for years, spent less and less time cutting my hair. And the price kept going up. But when the shoulder massage stopped. Bought a trimmer for me and my son. Saving me and him, lots of money over the years.. Stay safe. This pandemic is not over yet.
