I finally hooked up with Roku and am streaming my Charter Cable on it. Getting rid of the cable boxes and my land line will save me about 40 bucks per month and eliminate all of those darn robo calls. I am now streaming my charter cable through roku.
I am new to streaming so as time goes I would like to eventually get rid of the cable. Hopefully I can find something that provides the channels I currently have but at a cheaper price.Congrats. To perhaps you. And others following this thread. The highest power wifi connection, depending upon cost is what I recommend for the best Roku streaming results.
In terms of Cable. Used to have five boxes. Now down to two. Mrs. mile struggles at times streaming Roku. But she is getting better. Actually she is following Netflex often on Roku. Someday, would like to be down to just one cable box. Like to keep at least one cable box, in that there are things still on cable, I can't get on Roku. Overall, love my experience with Roku. I have over 100 channels, including Indiana high school basketball.... something I can't get on cable.

Lakers up 3-1 in the series and Nuggets had than right where they want them LOL! See if they can come back from the deficit for a third time.
Mrs. mile does not follow the NBA. Yet... when she heard on the local news that the Nuggies were down 3-1.... again. She said : "We've got them right where we want them."

Family style?? Passing food around with strangers?? Ahhh...no thanks.
Family tables. No strangers. Unlimited Hush Puppies.... and the best cole slaw. As well as the chicken.
There is also a place in Castle Rock, Colorado that serves pan fried chicken. Pretty good as well The neat thing about the Castle Cafe is that back in the late 1800's it was strictly a bar, and legend has it on Saturday nights cowboys would ride their horses into the building a saddle up to the bar for drinks.

https://www.whitefencefarm-il.com/menucard1.php#&panel1-1 is a legendary Chicagoland chicken place. Was there as a kid and a couple years ago for my fathers birthday.
We had a White Fence Farm in Lakewood, Colorado. Perhaps the best chicken of all.
Sadly it closed a couple of years back. To build apartment buildings.

I'm trying them in the air fryer tonight using this recipe...
I'm brining the (bone in of course) wings right now.
Picked up a beer called Convict Hill Oatmeal Stout to go with them...
Should be a good night 😊
Do tell us how the wings turned out.

It's a quick and easy dinner on work nights. Dont have to plan or think much about it. Put them in the oven watch tv for awhile, make a salad and done.
What's a work night ? I have all day to prepare dinner. LOL
But you are correct. Wings in the oven are easy. Have done them on a charcoal grill as well. Apple wood or hickory..... Dang.... now you've gotten my mouth watering.

I have wings 1-2 times a week. Make them at home with the oven on convection. And make my own sauces and dry rubs.
Made up a maple habanero sauce last week that will be in the rotation now.
And bone in, always.
I do chicken wings at home as well. Maybe not as often as you.
Here's one method that I fell in love with years back :

Changing course a little bit. Who, here likes chicken wings. And how do you like them ? Bone in. Or bone out ? I prefer bone in.
I like Wing Street... as they have many ways to prepare, and sauces.

Come turkey time, My ex’s Grandpa (loved that man) and I would battle over the dark meat and the others that nobody else wanted! Out of respect I always let him have the neck bone.
In case you don’t know, the neck bone meat is awesome’Fresh turkey at Thanksgiving. My son has dibs on one of the the legs every year. He loves turkey legs.
Another by the way. Leftover Thanksgiving turkey makes for a great turkey soup. Don't throw any of the bones away.

Didnt know that about dogs and chicken skin. They dont have a chance anyway because its mine.
I like to get rotisserie chickens, peel the skin off and put it under the broiler. I call them chicken chips.
Oh by the way. Left over rotisserie chicken makes for a great tasting chicken noodle soup. I don't use garlic. Like in the video. Just carrots, celery and parsley in mine.

White or dark meat? I'll take dark meat.
And if you are interested
White for me.
And for you dog owners out there. Chicken is ok to feed your dogs. But, word of caution. No bones. And. Do not feed chicken skin to your dog.... especially if it is a small dog. We have a relative that had a small dog that died from eating chicken skin.

Started out in Florida, I believe. Now spreading out elsewhere with franchises. Tons of sauces options.
