    Appreciate your concern.  Thank you.  Mrs. mile woke up today (Oct 18 ) with a headache.  Feels it is wild fire smoke related, rather than Covid.  This wild fire smoke has been playing havoc with the entire mile family for weeks.

    A man who writes for the newspaper in my hometown did a series of stories recently about his experience with Covid. He had it back in June and still doesn't feel like he's fully recovered. He was hospitalized and seriously thought he might not go home. Some of the aftereffects he described were pretty scary. When he returned to work, he had forgotten the names of his co-workers. 

     

    My biggest fear with all of this is that too many people are making it a black and white issue. For many that I've listened to, there are only two outcomes: you either live or you die, and such and such studies show there's a 99.99% chance you'll live if you meet such and such criteria, etc. 

     

    Maybe I get Covid and don't die, but I sure as sh*t don't want to spend a week in the hospital wondering what songs should be played at my funeral. 

    Mrs. mile delivered food to the homeless women's shelter in Denver today.... as she has been doing for years. And then received a text that the person she handed the food off to.... was tested positive for Covid after Mrs. mile left the shelter.

    The Queen of Sole. Had front row seats for her and the Pips in Vegas.  Actually a dinner table at the Flamingo.   Right next to the stage. Gladys stopped at table after table before us.. put a mic down for them to fill out lyrics to a song she and the Pips were singing.  No one got it right. Got to Mrs. mile.... who nailed it.  High fives from Gladys, and hand slaps from the Pips.

    Fact.  Bears can smell food four miles away from them.  It's getting to be hibernation season, here in Colorado. And bears have been very active searching for food.  Last week, one broke into a car where the owner left an opened bag of chips.  Bear... ate the chips, and totally destroyed the interior of the car.... looking for more food.
