I had to check the score again when I woke up this morning. Purdue got beat by a player that just signed a NIL deal. Then one of their best players blamed the refs.

Not sure if it fits here, but anyone else go to bar trivia nights? Theres a company down here around Louisville that puts them on, plus some other random ones. They’re always something fun to look forward to on a week night.

I didn’t see that tweet. I pointed out Goode because he seemed like an easy get if they would have put in some effort. They certainly went all in on Trey Kaufman-Renn but I think it was too late. Wesley seemed to be a strange one where IU and PU seemed to back off. I figured Ivey would end up at ND so Painter did a great job there. Recruiting is just a weird thing.

I think Luke Goode was one of the biggest recruiting mistakes Archie made. He’s a shooter and the team needed shooters. It sounds like he almost certainly come to IU if they made a push. Just a complete whiff.

I saw something pop up on Twitter that Brian Walsh liked his tweet opening up his recruitment. It looks like IU offered in April and he announced a too 10 (without IU) in August.

Any word on if he will enter the portal?

Iowa beat them with Murray going 3-8 from 3 If he did that yesterday they would've lost by at least 10. This is the most hyped Purdue team I can remember. They were 3rd in the Big Ten and runner up in the tournament. It’s NCAA or bust for them now, I think.

It seems ridiculous to see/hear but I can’t disagree. I can’t imagine playing anyone in the first round that’s better than the Illinois team they just beat. Then it’s a matter of winning the second game and BOOM. Sweet Sixteen.
