  1. Completely agree. My call (the sarcasm isn’t always obvious on here) to haters is to just do better. If they’re so awful it has to be easy, right?
  2. I don’t know that it’s necessarily success or if it’s more about access.
  3. Good. Hopefully he steps up this year and puts something together to replace this.
  4. I understand the concerns people have with the HH guys. My issue is if you (like SS) have connections and an issue, do better than them at what they do. It seems simple.
  5. Completely agree. I think losing both Matthews and Ellis really hurt because they’re the 2 best playmakers in space. Without both of them I don’t know who else really has that ability.
  6. I’ll point out some positives. McCulley looked good. I could see him settle in. The OL seemed improved. Maybe that wasn’t the case, but it seemed to improve. Carr had some good runs. 2&5 is SO much different than 2&9-11. Losing Matthews and Ellis hurts. They were probably the two best play makers in space. Sounds like Mullen wasn’t 100% and Taylor was out. That’s a big hit to the secondary.
  7. If anyone is into Oktoberfest beers you may want to hurry. They’re about gone down here. I decided to go with a classic.
  8. We did the drive through the park to Cherokee one day with a guided tour app and it was really cool. No fall colors then, however. Sadly we didn’t get any bbq down there.
  9. Where is that one? We went there a few weeks ago and did Smoky Mountain Brewery but not Gatlinburg. We also stopped at Hexagon in Knoxville for lunch on the way home. I forget what we paid for our moonshine tasting, but it was at Pigeon Forge distillery.
  10. So he CAN hear what I yell from the stands.
  11. Took some YeeHaw home with us. It’s good stuff.
  12. On the way home from the football game we stopped a Salt Creek in Bedford. It is a unique place that has some good food and beer. They mentioned cigars and wine but we didn’t have any of either.
  13. I knew there would be an event announced but wasn’t sure what. I’m a bit confused after hearing more. I went to Hoosier Hysteria already. How is this different? Eric was critical of some of the production. Am I wrong to think this is competing with an annual event? Will it overlap with the football game? I generally like the Hoosier Hysterics but I’m just not sure on this one.
  14. The more I learn about Woodson the more I realize he should’ve been hired years ago.
  15. This is probably the most hype a PU team has had in the pre season since the Baby Boilers. That class had the help of IU being down due to the Sampson situation. This team has the benefit of IU having a bad stretch that ended (hopefully) with nothing positive to point to. I think this is Painter’s best chance.
  16. We’re going to build on this momentum and get us a second win! Hopefully.
  17. I’ve acquired a bit of a collection lately. It’s tough to pass up a new bottle occasionally. Right now I have Crystal, Frank’s wing sauce, and a Louisiana brand sweet version of their standard sauce. They’re all good on about everything. There’s a sauce called Pickapeppa that is good. Very little heat and reminds me of A1. The hotter ones I have now are Secret Aardvark and Marie Sharps habanero. Neither are too crazy but definitely a step up in heat from the others.
  18. There was a bear down around Henryville a few years back. They live in Kentucky and Michigan so no reason they couldn’t come back to Indiana.
  19. I’m in 3 leagues this year and am 0-3 after week 1. Looking for a bounce back this week.
