  1. I don’t know if I’ve posted yet, but it’s worth saying again if I have. I’m more excited for this season than any I can remember. We confirmed that our tickets have been ordered last week. I don’t know where we’ll be sitting but we will be there.
  2. I think the perception that IU football has a mediocre history hurts him. Most don’t seem to realize that they’re actually historically bad. Like one of the worst power 5 programs bad.
  3. Is that really unique to Crean, though? There have been rumors floating around for a while about the phone call Painter had with Collin Hartman after he committed to IU.
  4. I haven’t used the charcoal caddy or auto ignite but you can’t go wrong with either. I use a chimney starter and a separate charcoal bin so you can get by without them.
  5. I love cast iron, too. I made a rack to hang some pans from in the stairway to our basement and have 2 pieces hanging in the kitchen. My favorite place to find them are flea markets and yard sales.
  6. Not sure where else to put this. Another hire that has Indiana roots.
  7. Here is the 2021 set up. It was just under 40 when we got up around 7:30.
  8. I just did a quick google and there doesn’t seem to be much. He’s coming from NIU, was committed to Temple, is a grad transfer with 1 yer of eligibility, and seems to be a solid player.
  9. Could this be it? Looks like a good pickup. He’s been mentioned as one of the top DTs in the portal.
  10. Finally got my shiplap wall finished. It was quite the journey to get wrapped up.
  11. I found some onions that are past their prime and starting to grow a stalk. Can I plant them to grow some onions?
  12. What type of cooking do you want to do and for how many people? I’ll throw in another vote for Weber, but if you’re thinking only small groups or large groups it may be worth looking at an 18” or 26”. You can’t go wrong with the 22”, though. It can cook about anything as others have mentioned.
  13. This has to be one of the only situations where an assistant coach with highly ranked kids is hired and the fans are understanding of them not all following. I think that’s just proof of how good DeLand is.
  14. Mostly northeast Indiana. I think there’s still at least 1 in Fort Wayne. I was pumped to find one in Louisville but it’s closed since.
  15. That is true, but it also took Edwards scoring the most ppg in the tournament since 1990 and a new record for made threes to get there.
  16. Firing up the gasser for a quick lunch. This doesn’t get a ton of use but it’s nice to have on days like this.
  17. I love mine. It’s the 17” tabletop version but it’s tons of fun. We’ve tailgated with it a few times. Tacos are always great. I like to cook potatoes in the microwave the night before then slice and toss them on. You can add extras; I like onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc.
  18. I think we all know the answer to that one.
  19. @FritzIam4IU @IUFLA I do have the biggest one and enjoy it. I’ve heard the medium is the most efficient, though. The small ones also seem really nice. If you like the style, are somewhat handy, and want to save money you can make a version of the small one for around $100. I never really got mine figured out but it was due to my error.
  20. Where’d you find a bone in breast? Ive never had any luck in southern Indiana.
  21. I’m not the only one that decided to do some grilling today. I have a spatchcocked chicken on a kettle this afternoon.
