  1. I’ll be in the same boat. Watching the prerace now. After about 20 laps I’ll head out to the yard with the radio. I keep the tv going so I can check in throughout the race.
  2. What’s everyone doing for the race? I don’t go regularly so not much change for me. I get the grill going early (ish) and watch the prerace and start. Then I keep the race on and bounce between watching the race, the grill, and whatever else needs done in the yard.
  3. We also had an unwanted lawn guest last week. We let him go on his way.
  4. Got some chicken on now. Legs are Caribbean jerk and thighs are carne asada marinade. Finished with some green onions.
  5. How do you like that system? I’ve been intrigued but haven’t got one.
  6. Is that the wok that fits in the removable center part of the grate?
  7. How’d you watch The Good Place? I’ve watched the first 3 seasons but haven’t seen the fourth available.
  8. Thank you for the info! Next time I see one I won’t just take a picture.
  9. Anyone know what this guy is? I saw it on one of my tomato plants. The next day every leaf was gone.
  10. Looks like a great meal. Chicken leg quarters are one of my favorite ways to cook chicken.
  11. Does he have any distribution channels? I’m from the Ft Wayne area and would love to try a new local bbq sauce.
  12. Smoked chuck is great on its own. I can’t imagine it with homemade bread.
  13. You kind of get in a zone when you start each grill one at a time. I have 3 going at a time where 1 won’t change all day.
  14. We’re having our “big” cookout today. With everything going on it is a smaller version. I have a pork shoulder and pork chops on. Did some sausage, burgers, and hot dogs earlier. Wings are coming soon.
  15. I meant this one but I’ll take the double!
  16. We bought them last night. They made it sound like all kayaks needed them.
  17. I don’t fish, but we enjoy hiking and kayaking. We just got new kayaks so we’ll probably take them out this weekend.
  18. I was pretty happy with mine. The pork shoulder has been great for lunch tacos!
  19. It is tied to a monitor that can connect to Bluetooth. It came with 4 probes and has the ability to connect up to 6.
  20. Got a pork shoulder and chuck roast going now.
  21. The Weber kettle can be used as a smoker. I set up unlit charcoal on one side with a barrier. You can get fire bricks or a charcoal basket to keep it together. Then add some lit charcoal on top. Leave the top vent open and control temp with the bottom. The food goes on the cool side and may need turned. You’re limited on space but it does a good job. You can also look up the snake method. I added a picture with 2 pork butts on a 22.5” kettle.
