I don’t know if I’ve posted yet, but it’s worth saying again if I have. I’m more excited for this season than any I can remember.
We confirmed that our tickets have been ordered last week. I don’t know where we’ll be sitting but we will be there.

B...b...but, injuries.
Even though he can't recruit depth to save his life which is what makes the injuries so much worse, the injury excuse still gets thrown out all the time for him.
Also not sure how Allen gets anything other than an A+.
I think the perception that IU football has a mediocre history hurts him. Most don’t seem to realize that they’re actually historically bad. Like one of the worst power 5 programs bad.

Yeah Crean has never handled players well when they committed to other schools. I know of another player he had a colorful phone call with after they chose another school.
Is that really unique to Crean, though? There have been rumors floating around for a while about the phone call Painter had with Collin Hartman after he committed to IU.

I haven’t used the charcoal caddy or auto ignite but you can’t go wrong with either. I use a chimney starter and a separate charcoal bin so you can get by without them.

I love using cast iron. I've bought Lodge pans and Dutch ovens, roasting pans, have a Griswold 8 inch I bought at an antique store. I nerd out over cast iron. Wont be long and some will be hanging from my wall. I cant stop buying them.
Anyway, a well seasoned cast iron will do anything.
I've found that full fat butter, or clarified butter seasons the best. The important thing with seasoning is choosing a fat with a high smoke point. Bacon ends and peices and avocado oil work well too. But full fat butter gives me the best results.
I love cast iron, too. I made a rack to hang some pans from in the stairway to our basement and have 2 pieces hanging in the kitchen.
My favorite place to find them are flea markets and yard sales.- 1

Sorry for being lazy, but is there more information about him? Is he coming from Northern Illinois?
I just did a quick google and there doesn’t seem to be much. He’s coming from NIU, was committed to Temple, is a grad transfer with 1 yer of eligibility, and seems to be a solid player.

I found some onions that are past their prime and starting to grow a stalk. Can I plant them to grow some onions?

Ok what about recommendations on a good well built charcoal grill?
What type of cooking do you want to do and for how many people?
I’ll throw in another vote for Weber, but if you’re thinking only small groups or large groups it may be worth looking at an 18” or 26”. You can’t go wrong with the 22”, though. It can cook about anything as others have mentioned.

This has to be one of the only situations where an assistant coach with highly ranked kids is hired and the fans are understanding of them not all following. I think that’s just proof of how good DeLand is.

At this point we have Schrodinger’s roster.

Where is it? Haha
Mostly northeast Indiana. I think there’s still at least 1 in Fort Wayne.
I was pumped to find one in Louisville but it’s closed since.

I think you make some good points for sure. The Purdue team this year certainly didn’t have the quickness/ability to guard in space like past Purdue teams have had. Didn’t have a lockdown defender like Eastern either. I think that’s certainly a factor in the FF drought but luck and injuries have to get lumped in there too. That UVA shot was a one in a 100 type play. Unfortunately (at least during Painter’s tenure), the majority of his teams that had the potential to make deep tourney runs (Hummel twice and Haas) were derailed because of injury. I realize injuries happen to everyone but just stating what has happened over the past 10+ years.
That is true, but it also took Edwards scoring the most ppg in the tournament since 1990 and a new record for made threes to get there.

I love mine. It’s the 17” tabletop version but it’s tons of fun.
We’ve tailgated with it a few times. Tacos are always great. I like to cook potatoes in the microwave the night before then slice and toss them on. You can add extras; I like onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc.

I do have the biggest one and enjoy it. I’ve heard the medium is the most efficient, though. The small ones also seem really nice. If you like the style, are somewhat handy, and want to save money you can make a version of the small one for around $100. I never really got mine figured out but it was due to my error.
