Hope your finger is alright! Mine was not too bad....just bled for a bit.

I did watch a couple videos, but not that one. I'll check it out. They make it seem easy on the videos, but it took me way longer than I anticipated. It's all good though as long as it turns out!

I’m fine, too. Just a small cut that needed a bandaid for the night.

Here is the one I was thinking about.

Just an FYI...I suck at trimming a full packer brisket. It took me like 90 minutes and a cut thumb. On a positive note, brisket is now smoking away....used pecan wood this time.

I think my wife is making the rest of the dinner tomorrow...deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, rolls, homemade mac and cheese, green bean casserole, cheescake (not as fancy as @Drroogh and @IUFLAare making, and pumpkin pie. My kids were arguing over which dessert, so I believe she is making both. I'm pretty sure they knew what they were doing with that...

There are some good videos on YouTube that show how to trim brisket. Chud BBQ is one I like.
I also cut my finger tonight. Mine was a box cutter while I was cutting shipping tubes for something I’m working on.

The only thing other than cooking the turkey I won't let her do is make the gravy. Those 2 are my domain.

Sometimes we'll swap green bean casserole for brussel sprouts with bacon, garlic, and shallots.

Whatever we don't have at Thanksgiving gets made at Christmas.

Brussels Sprouts are very underrated. I think too many people grew up with boiled or steamed ones.
If you roast them with some seasoning and let them get crispy they are great.

this is the one where we take money from our pockets and send it directly to the athletes of our favorite school, in hopes they won't transfer? Is this that one? or?

NIL is wild to me lol

dressed up as "Hoosiers connect" 😆

Aren’t they all kind of like this? I haven’t seen anything in NIL that is transparent in how much they take in and how much they pay out. They all come across as “trust us, we’re helping” without any proof.

The really sad thing is, at one time the sports broadcasting world was his oyster...

I honestly thought that he could end up being one of ESPN's top analysts, but he blew it with some of his idiotic statements and actions... now, he's relegated to the podcast world and twitter... along with every other celebrity wanna-be...

I used to laud Dakich for starting the purge of the stench left by the Kelvin Sampson era, but no more... those chips were lost long ago...

See you on the Uber Eats circuit, chump...

I thought he was the best analyst they had for a while.
I’m not sure what happened with him. He’s always said no one eats their own like IU, but ignores the fact that he’s th worst offender.

    🙄

They've cheated to win throughout their history... now that paying players is legal and the field is level, they whine... Simply amazing...

Weren’t they saying he was a perfect replacement for Grady Dick? I thought I’d heard that one of their big pitches was to show him clips of Dick as examples of how they wanted to use him.

  7. I don’t plan on going, but visited Atlanta in December of 2022.
I really enjoyed the city. The arena is close to Centennial Park (worth a stroll if you like the Olympics), the aquarium, the Coke museum, the college football HOF, and the Center for Civil Rights. I’d recommend the City Pass if you’re interested in any of them.
Atlanta Underground seemed really cool but was shut down. It seems like there are talks about something going in there.

If you’re interested in history/national parks the MLK Jr birthplace is there and free to visit.

True to my name, Fox Bros BBQ is fantastic and probably the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Horned Owl brewing in Kennesaw was a really cool place.

Sorry but for what? Love Woody but what has he won to deserve a Million dollar raise? Big Ten title? Nope. NCAA Title? Nope? Sweet 16? Nope. Does he have the program headed in the right place? Who knows yet, looks like it. But a Million a year raise for 2 avg. season. No he doesn't deserve that yet.

Did IU pay $11 million dollars to get worse?

Has anyone tried the new Hoosier Gameday Lager? I’m going to try to get some this weekend, but I’m not drinking one until September 2.

I struck out today. The store I usually go to sold out and said Upland in Jeffersonville sold out in a few hours.

If anyone sees it you should pick it up right away. Sounds like everyone, at least down around Louisville, is selling it quick.

Been meaning to post an update here. A couple weeks ago took a weekend trip to SW MI. Hit up Founders for their tour. Very informative. Founders, and two other Grand Rapids breweries, were founded by members of frats at Hope College (Holland MI). 20 years ago, it was legal to buy home brewing supplies if you were underage. Frats just made their own.  Founders was told by the State of KY to take Kentucky off of their Kentucky Barrell Stout. Hence it became KBS.

Stopped at two other breweries but the one other place I'll mention is SidebarGR. A tiny bar / speakeasy with 3 tables and 4 seats at the bar. Serve EXCELLENT craft cocktails. Went there to have one drink as they are pricy but stayed for a second. Not too many places have absinthe and the infused alcohols they do. Check out their drink menu here- http://www.sidebargrandrapids.com/menu-1

Founders had some really good stuff. I have a few years of KBS cellared now. They discontinued CBS (Canadien Breakfast Stout), but that had a similar story. For a while it had a Mountie on the bottle but they had to remove it.

Would someone just come out and say what the rumors actually were?  I've heard very vague things.  Honestly, it kinda makes me believe the "philosophical differences" was actually the reason.

I think I've heard drinking problems,  borderline abusive to players because how tough he was.  Maybe he was drunk at Hubers or some other public event?  What else?

The only rumors I’ve seen were about him drinking too much. The only specific one I remember was something about one of his first days in town where he yelled at someone.

Everything that came out and was reported had to do with mistreating players. It was mostly about pushing players to come back from injury too soon.

He's good. Seems really close to 100%. He spent the whole day wrestling with our 140lbs Great Dane lol..

Tank is right at 50lbs, but he's a little oveeweight. He got into his brother's food for a bit. We had to make a special food troph for Yogi. (The Dane)

Good to hear. I guess our guy is going through what I’ve heard called the ‘puppy uglies’ where he looks too tall.

Is Yogi named after the Yogi we know for IU?
