^^^ Jeff. Honestly sorry to hear your replacement surgery has been cancelled.  Hang in there for me, please, as I know you will have to continue with the pain.

On the flip side.  The bath rehab looks great. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.  Please take care.

    Thank you my friend

Very well done!!! I wish I was mechanically inclined.

Thank you. Fortunately for me I was in retail management in the building material business for 40 years and was exposed to many professionals who shared their knowledge with me.

That being said this is my last project. Age, bad vision and a bum hip has made the decision for me.

I hope all is well with you and your family, especially for me hero Ayden! That young man is a true inspiration.

Yes. A lot of elective surgeries are being cancelled all over the country.  Man, I wish you well. And think that a replacement surgery such as yours would not be cancelled. I wish you well and will pray that GOD sees you through these uncertain times.

Just got the cancellation call this morning. I am not surprised since my wife works at the hospital and they are really tightening the screws.

On a positive note I was feeling tremendous pressure to finish the total bathroom renovation. I can now slow the pace down and maybe sleep in.

I have attached a couple pics and I apologize for somewhat hijacking the thread.

Do you happen to know if the procedure will be performed from the front of the hip, or the side or rear? If your Surgeon is using the "frontal" procedure, you should be back to normal in 3-4 weeks. If they replace it from the side or rear, you're looking at 6-10 weeks. I had mine done 2 years ago, and was ready to start swinging the golf club in a little over 3 weeks. But you have to the PT !!

Good luck. I bet they don't cancel it. You're early in the curve of hospital demand, unless you're in NYC, Frisco, Washington or Chgo.

I am having the anterior replacement. A good friend of mine had it done in November and he was going to watch his son coach a women's college basketball team.

Thank you for the kind words.

Been sitting on this for a few days. Want to share with you.  IU has worked up a tribute video to play in AH..... SHOULD the "General" decide to show up.  We are inching closer to the day. As IU continues to work on an arrival.  Even to the point of making a seat available for the coach.

Now.  I am not saying coach is coming.  Just that IU will be prepared should he show up.

Knight will probably come back when we play Purdue and bring his buddy "Jack" who guest starred on his   television show back in the day!

Love it. Dakich recreated it and added some yesterday thought it was pretty good.  Funny Sterling sees the exact same things many if us do. We are not tough, not well coached and not prepared. That is completely on the staff.  Put the kids in position to he successful.  Lack of change or unwillingness to adapt is going to have Archie updating his resume sooner rather than later.

I said it here at the end of the summer. Glass met with CTA and said bowl or bust and told CAM tourney or bust. CTA delivered,  CAM yet to be seen. I was quickly dismissed that no way that happens. We shall see

I don't think Archie is going to achieve that goal. I know what I would do with this team. They might not make the tournament but they would play with heart, toughness and be held accountable for their performance. I have no doubts several players would not be on the roster by seasons end.

We've probably run this horse to ground -- simple point though, the Pacers traded PG to the Thunder, he did not "join Russ." And PG has won defensive MVP, and of course has been in the final 3 for League MVP and defensive MVP just last season. And already covered it, but "PG at the helm" just isn't accurate or fair. Bird traded away and lost every single player PG played with. The P's are in good shape now, with Pritchard, but Bird ruined the team they had. That's just fact.

In my opinion Bird was a bird brain when it came to running the team. A great player but a ??ss poor executive.

My wife has a coupe of great chili recipes. Of which I could not tell you the ingredients.  She has the recipes in her head.

However, when I make chili. I use the 2 alarm chili kit.  Which has the instructions on the back of the box.  Plus don't get alarmed by the name. As you can temper the heat any way you want.

Lastly.  Anymore. The only way for me to compliment chili is with a ton of Oyster Crackers. Continuously spread on top as I eat it.

    Along with diced onions
