    Sorry for your loss

    Thank you my friend.

So far this year we have lost my wife's sister who was down syndrome but lived into her fifties, my brother's live in companion who passed away in her sleep while he was in the hospital, my high school track and cross country coach. a close builder friend of mine, my brother a couple of weeks, my brother in law and Eric. 2020 sucks big time!

Don’t you just love to pull into a parking spot at your local grocery store and see one of the disposable floss thingamajigs laying on the pavement in the parking spot next to you ?

I don't mind it one bit. I pick it up, floss my teeth and throw it back on the ground for the next person.

Did the worker say what brings you guys from Kentucky up to Michigan??

    Ouch, that hurts.

Actually my ancestors were from the backwoods of Kentucky and West Virginia.

My Mom's Dad traded a couple farm animals to get my grandmother. He was born in 1861 and my grandmother was born on 1890.

As soon as they got hitched she started popping out youngins.

Great story. As long as you keep telling her she looks 21 all is well.  I felt that prior to Ayden getting sick my wife and I both were aging well. The past 10 years have not been nice to me for sure.

My wife is 24 years younger than I am. We were in Northern Michigan a few years ago and went to a craft show. My wife found a pair of earrings she like but the place didn't take credit cards. Normally I never have cash but this time I had enough to buy them for her. The young girl in the booth said, "that is so nice of you to buy those for your daughter."

I said yes it is and I slept with her last night!

Congrats. To perhaps you.  And others following this thread.  The highest power wifi connection, depending upon cost is what I recommend for the best Roku streaming results.

In terms of Cable.  Used to have five boxes.  Now down to two. Mrs. mile struggles at times streaming Roku.  But she is getting better. Actually she is following Netflex often on Roku. Someday, would like to be  down to just one cable box.  Like to keep at least one cable box, in that there are things still on cable, I can't get on Roku.  Overall, love my experience with Roku.  I have over 100 channels, including Indiana high school basketball.... something I can't get on cable.

I would love to get Indiana high school ball.  Would you mind telling me how you get it?

    Thanks my friend.

  6. I finally hooked up with Roku and am streaming my Charter Cable on it. Getting rid of the cable boxes and my land line will save me about 40 bucks per month and eliminate all of those darn robo calls. I am now streaming my charter cable through roku.

I am new to streaming so as time goes I would like to eventually get rid of the cable. Hopefully I can find something that provides the channels I currently have but at a cheaper price.

I've talked to so many people who have had the same problem w/ tomatoes this year. It was our first subpar tomato year here. Kind of a bummer.

My wife bought her Mom a couple tomato plants abd transplanted them each if them into a big planter and they produced big time.  Her folks were begging people to take the excess off their hands.

I think @Leatherneckswins the pepper and tomato volume contest! I just pulled up the last of our tomato plants, as they were mostly spent and really taking up a lot of space on the far end of our terrace. Looks a lot cleaner without them.

We just pulled our plants too. It was not a very good gardening year for us. Tomatoes and tomatoes would grow but not ripen up. Squash wouldn't ripen and green beans were a no show.

I am blaming it on Covid19.

One of my dogs woke me up to be able  to go out side to do some "business".  No biggie.  Being retired.... I can nap anytime during the day.

But.... the bigger question is...... What are you doing up.... so early ?   LOL

My wife yelled at one of our cats and woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep so I moved to the front bedroom so I wouldn't bother her.

And being retired like you I can catch a few winks anytime.
