Penn St just did what we should have done against Nwestern. Sent a double to Bouie. He had to give it up to Berry who missed a three. Need a basket from PSU here.

Consistency isn’t just about the wins and losses, it’s about how they play.

Going into the season….no, I didn’t think we were. But you don’t think we SHOULD have an outside chance given some of our performances this year? We’re going to be a top 3-5 seed for crying out loud with NO dominant teams out there. Have an all American on our team and one of the top freshmen in the country. On any given night we can beat anybody. It’s the consistency that’s lacking and I don’t understand it or who is to blame for that. But you sound like you’re making excuses already in case we fall on our faces or are disappointing in the tournament. I don’t think we can win the whole thing because we haven’t put multiple quality games together in a row, but I certainly think it’s possible. We have enough talent.

So wonderful! This includes a horrible display at Minny. Good luck playing that poorly and winning against quality teams in the tournament. We have definitely not played six quality games in a row this year (which could include a loss - not saying they had to be all wins - looking more at the performance). We are wildly inconsistent.

You’re right…. really speaking more to not being able to win 6 in the tournament against quality competition. But you are correct in that we went on a nice little streak. With that said. That included a really poor game at Minny and a non competitive game at MD. Not sure Minny should count, but to their defense, good teams find a way to win when they play poorly. We just can’t seem to find some consistency.

Embarrassing? And I’m not embarrassed about the offense. Sometimes you can’t make shots. I’m embarrassed about the D. How can it be that bad this late in the season? How can Jalen get beat three times IN A ROW? How can Iowa get open three after open three without an adjustment? How can our basketball IQ on that end of the floor still be so bad? First in-person game I’ve watched this year and curb stomped. 😡 I’ve said it a thousand times but we just aren’t good enough to win multiple games in a row bc some team will “volume” us with threes and we’re screwed. We HAVE to have a more balanced offense moving forward. Have to make threes in today’s game to win 95% of the time. Guess a 3 is still possible if we beat UM and win the BTT, but I’d say we’re more likely to lose in the quarters of the BTT and end up a 6. Don’t think the seeding really matters at this point, whether we’re a 3,4,5, or 6.

I’m guessing that she doesn’t see her arrogance. Just the way she is. Poorly raised, poorly coached….. 🤷🏻‍♂️. I’d be very disappointed if one of my kids acted that way.

Nah, look at the remaining games. We take care of business at home we’ll likely be the 2, 3 at the worst. MD has to go to Penn St and OSU. They play poorly on the road. Nwestern still has to go to Rutgers.

Matt Painter is why I dislike UK on a different level than Purdue. Class act, quality person…. tough to dislike.

The best part of this IMO is that every kid on the team is enjoying it. You don’t see anybody standing to the side pouting bc they don’t play much or whatever. That’s the sign of leadership in the locker room.

If we protect home court we can’t fall below a tie for second IF Maryland beats Northwestern today. With that said, I think we’ll end up #2 alone given the games that still have to be played. Northwestern still has to go to Rutgers as well. MD still has to go to PSU. Illinois has to go to Purdue. We have Michigan at home. For me, go MD, OSU, and Wiscy today!

Let’s just make him look like a dummy on Tuesday.
