I don’t buy the tired stuff to the extent we’ve made it out to be lately. Maybe a little bit, but I’m sure Woody didn’t run him in the ground since Tues. Something else has to be up. Too young not to be able to recover in four days.

Yeah, not that I care about any of those awards, but Edey has reaffirmed tonight why at least the Big POY is his. As good as TJD has been most of the year, no chance.

Thanks to JHS this is still a game. Hope he plays under control in the second half, continues to play within himself. Trayce was awful, even when Edey was out. Kopp needs to keep knocking down threes. Defense was solid for the middle 10 minutes, but the beginning and end of the half need to be better. Can’t give up 38 a half if we want to win on the road.

You’re right to an extent, but pretty naive to think he had no idea what was going on or that he shouldn’t have known better.

Yeah, the NCAA risks getting sued if nothing comes to light that criminally implicates Miller, but unfortunately, I bet they are even more concerned about other claims that would be made if they took action…. in other words implications that they are only taking action bc he is…. The world we live in.

We need the non-tired TJD…the one that has hop to have any chance! Facing a monumental test WITH that TJD. Been turning it over too much and not playing the best D as a team. Those two things have to change if we want a chance…. on top of our shooters knocking down some threes.

This IMO makes it very unlikely we can win six in a row in the tournament. Somebody will get hot and shoot/make a high volume of threes against us. And while we might dominate the paint, we won’t be able to keep up.

I think this is where XJ is so important. JHS needs to play off the ball more IMO. I think he can be a lot more effective when he doesn’t have to have the ball in his hands all of the time. As reckless as XJ can be, he doesn’t compare to JHS IMO. XJ makes us so much more dynamic and deeper. Just hope by tournament time he’s close to 100%.

Hope you’re right and two losses at MSU and Purdue don’t affect us much. Certainly can help for us to get a double bye and win a game or two in the Big10 tourney. Get XJ back and I really like our chances on neutral floors moving forward.

Dreadful all around. Don’t think we have much of a chance Sat. Just win both remaining home games, finish 12-8 and hopefully snag a double bye. We do that, regardless of what happens in the Big10 tournament we’ll be somewhere from a 4-6 which I’ll be satisfied with.
