Wow, expected to turn on the tv and see them losing a game for once, but these girls just don’t give a hoot who they are playing or where. Just complete domination every night.

I don’t know about “should” man. Northwestern is a pretty decent team. I definitely think we’re better on a neutral court for sure, but in their building we better be locked in. Limit turnovers and let me see the bulldog defense we’re capable of. I want to see an attitude, like this is payback.

And it probably didn’t need to be rehashed, but here we are.

This may seem odd, but I think officials have way too hard of a job as is. I think they should do away with “in-game” flopping calls. They are debatable now a lot of times anyway. I think a fourth official should be keeping an eye on the video review and tip off the floor officials OR do it retroactively, you get hit with so many (2,3) you are suspended for a game. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, but will be disappointed if we are at all sluggish given that they came into our house and beat us. If we come to play and they just beat us, fine.

Don’t disagree completely with you on our play tonight…. but we were tough enough mentally to hang in there and get it done. In the past we haven’t. Plus, we were really short-handed tonight. Enjoy the win man!

I get it, but also saw quite a bit of what he saw. We didn’t play that well, which only encourages me. They are cementing the fact in my mind, that if healthy, we really are capable of winning six in a row in March.

I think some people just see things differently. Let it go Scott.

Our first half D was bad IMO, but we hung in there. I thought we had a lot of head scratching mistakes in the second half, but our D was exceptional. Good teams have to grind out ugly wins on the road sometimes. Better than losses! These build character!

Man, that’s a gritty, tough-nosed win that we’re not used to seeing. Stunk on D in the first half IMO, a lot of head-scratching shots and turnovers, and some inconsistent officiating, but we showed up to play D in the second half and got it done. Felt like we wasted a lot of opportunities to take leads throughout the game and didn’t think we’d get it done…. but 💣! I’ll be greedy, let’s go get revenge in Evanston.

I’m going into the next two thinking we really need to win one if we want to keep improving our seeding. We can win out our home games and easily get in as a 5-7 seed, but would really love to see these guys keep it in gear pushing towards a 3-4 seed.

Agree, but this is easier said than done. If you look at all of UM’s schedule, they’ve played everybody tough in the Big10 regardless of home and away. I’m not confident at all in this one.

I’m happy with the progress this team and program have made this year, and I’m confident we CAN with this game, but I’m not convinced we’ve developed the “consistent” mental toughness necessary on the road. Played pretty poorly in the past two at Minny and MD. Hopefully we come out like we did in the other Assembly Hall.

Have to admit I didn’t get to watch any of the game. Was voting solely on statistics, which isn’t always the best indicator. Plus, part of me is always looking for an excuse to vote for somebody other than TJD.

Deserves a deep run. Sh$t, we all deserve it! Hopefully we’re due.

He can’t 🤣. Which is surprising bc he’s a pretty good FT shooter. Crap, he doesn’t even shoot it anymore outside of a few feet, let alone make any. But the way he’s dominated anyway, I’m good with that.

I think without the portal you’d be absolutely right, but with the transfer portal I don’t see any reason why we can’t replace and move right along. I think CMW’s comments about him not coming here to rebuild speak to the optimism that he plans to reload, not rebuild next year. Hope I’m right!
