Dang, what should have been…. second half at Iowa, and Nwestern at home… 18-5, 9-3. Beat Rutgers and then there’s another winnable road game sitting in front of us. Get XJ back in the next couple weeks and this team is dangerous to anybody.

Great win. Glad the team acted like they expected to win after the game. Assuming that is leadership rubbing off from CMW. Beat Rutgers, no excuses.

THAT was terrible. Even if that’s a little of a foul on MK, there was no point in calling that. Purdue got the ball, play on.

Don’t disagree, but we can control moving our feet better and not reaching. The only one on us I thought was a joke was the first one on JHS.

I didn’t say they weren’t good. I said they weren’t the Boston Celtics, they aren’t unbeatable. We play D like we can, being at home where we shoot it pretty well.. I expect us to win.

Purdue is good, but good grief they aren’t the Boston Celtics like some of you act. I expect us to win at home and will be disappointed if we don’t.

I understand we’re short-handed so I somewhat get it, but I’m a little annoyed that JHS can be as bad as he was and he continues to play. Now, I know TG was in foul trouble so that didn’t help, but I’d rather see Woody send a message and play anybody else (Leal?). Not the message that you’re not allowed to have a bad night, but the message that if you’re having a bad night you need to find other ways to contribute instead of chucking up more shots when you can’t even come close. He needs to quickly find some basketball IQ if that’s even possible or TG needs to play the point more.

Leal bc he looked more ready to play than anybody. 🤣 Didn’t want to vote for anybody. I know TJD had 18 and 20 boards but I also think he got worked his fair share on the defensive end. Seemed pretty disinterested to me all night. He would be my serious vote, but I hold him to a higher standard (too high probably).

Turnovers were 12 to 5. Gave them 7 extra possessions. That can be controlled.

Well, that stunk. I know TJD had 18 and 20 boards, but this might be the first time all year that I didn’t feel like he was up for it on the defensive end. Everybody was bad to mediocre tonight IMO. Throw it away (really tough place to play) and beat Purdue.
