  1. Love the lack of TOs, but FT is horrible. Come on guys. That’s mental.
  2. Is Ivey always that selfish? They get an and-one and he’s complaining to the official about not getting the foul call.
  3. The two closest officials were about to swallow the whistle there on Durr’s shot. Pathetic!
  4. Be nice if we guarded the perimeter better. If we don’t, it won’t stay close.
  5. !!!!!!!!!!! Have to hang in there defensively. Maybe we’ll start knocking some down. I’m always hard on XJ. Looks like he’s the only one that showed up!
  6. And we can’t hit open shots…. 🙄
  7. Be nice if we could guard the perimeter.
  8. It’s very POSSIBLE and I’m trying to be optimistic, but I completely agree with you about the difficulty. I got my hand smacked by the forum police for being a realist / not being completely satisfied with the Nebraska game. With that said, 3-3 in my book is mediocre/ poor, 4-2 given the home games against Purdue and Illinois I can be satisfied with.
  9. I guess… don’t lose at home. Take advantage of the home crowd / atmosphere. Really tough to win on the road.
  10. One game at a time, but we have a good shot of carrying that Nebraska game into a 6 game win streak over the next few weeks. Protect home court and beat an underwhelming MD team on the road.
  11. Always makes it better listening to Fisch.
  12. I don’t think anybody has really criticized him. I just think some of us hope he’s more careful with it in the future so it doesn’t hurt us or cost us a game. As bad as Big10 officiating is I’m surprised this was his first one. There’s been other times that I cringed when he did it thinking that he was going to get T’d up. By no means do I dislike his emotions. I just want him to be careful.
  13. I was just laughing at the “fouling to get himself out of the game” comment. If he needed to get out of the game, he should have just gone down. Not sure why he needed to pick up his 4th without knowing for sure he wasn’t coming back. It doesn’t really matter either way at this point.
  14. “Can’t imagine a halfway decent coach … “. Neither of your statements were accurate. But again, I don’t care about your opinion or views on me. Go engage somebody else with your almighty attitude. Good luck.
  15. “That” upset. You obviously have zero idea what you’re talking about. Who do you think you are? Go try to insult somebody else man. I couldn’t care any less what your thoughts are about me or the game.
  16. His jump shot is better? Again, I’m not arguing with you man. Kid can play, doesn’t mean he can’t get better.
  17. We got away with it bc we won. I’m not arguing with you man. I hope TJD isn’t complacent and understands what he needs to work on. Nobody is perfect, but everybody should be striving for it. Let’s win Thurs.
  18. If that’s what happened, then it’s unlucky. But he seemed like he knew he was wrong after it happened so maybe it wasn’t unintentional. Regardless, we got away with it and won. Just not interested in watching something like that cost us a game, whether it should or shouldn’t be called by crappy officials. TJD misses a lot of layups, Ft shooting isn’t great and can’t hit a jump shot. Yeah, he’s very productive, but could be even better. Don’t mean to sound like a coach again (frowned about on here if everything isn’t positive) or that I don’t appreciate him so i’ll bow out.
  19. Are you the game watching / opinion police? Somebody else telling me how to watch a game is just as silly and ridiculous. Forgive me for watching a game from a coaching perspective. Just the way I am. And I’m pretty reserved with my criticisms. Feel free to go back and look. Did you not also read the posts where I said I need to learn to enjoy it more as opposed to taking that view? Guess not. That first paragraph is as much over the top as my competitiveness man. If you want to argue against my points, fine, but leave it at that.
  20. I am, he screamed right in the guy’s face. Did he not? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for competitive fire, give-a-damn emotion, but he’s just over the top sometimes. Prefer he put that energy into practicing his free throws and jump shots (and layups for that matter). Luckily that didn’t bite us last night.
