So you actually expect IU to compete with OSU when it comes to NIL LOL!

Maybe not dollar for dollar but I don’t see why we can’t be at the $9-$10m (75-80% of OSU) mark. IU has the monies. Just need the mindset. Hopefully Coach Cig can flip the loser mentality that years of routine beatings have sunk into the majority of IUFB fans.

Yanks are looking at Hector Neris, don't know much about him....

He’d be a solid acquisition.  He was part of the combined no-no against NYY in 2022. Decent late inning guy. Probably a better setup reliever than closer.

I have grandkids who are constantly underdressed for the conditions. They have never experienced what it is like to be caught outside by some kind of problem unprepared. They don't understand layers or wearing gloves. It has to be a generational thing but ,growing up on a farm, it drives me crazy.

My teens don’t wear coats. Hats. Gloves. It’s beyond annoying. But. In their defense, since Covid, they have stopped using school lockers. Now they have to carry everything. Rather inconvenient imo. So I don’t blame them entirely for not wanting to haul around winter coats and accessories all day.

And it's 8 against 5. Clark lowered a shoulder going into the lane, knock the IU player 180° and back 10' and no call.

Tons of moving screens by Iowa, no call. And on, and on, and on.

Not helping that she has been wide open on the last few three’s off the screen and swished them all. Need to play better defense.

    I bought a house in 2020 and got 2.875%. 😎

Refied during Covid and received just a touch under that. Knocked 9 yrs off the life of my loan and kept my monthly payments the same.  Such a great deal.

Chuck Howley in Superbowl V and Bobby Richardson in the 1960 World Series 🙂

Before my time Gramps! ;)  I kid I kid. I had to research as I was not familiar. Chuck Howley. 2 INTs and a forced fumble in a close 16-13 defeat.   Richardson batted .367 w/12 RBIs in a 7 games series defeat.

I stand by my previously statement however. I don’t feel an mvp is warranted during a loss.

I didnt vote because I did not see the game.  But, having an MVP from a losing team is not an unusual concept.

Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout with the Angels, for example.

That’s for a season however, not quite the same IMO.

They cancelled school here tomorrow, because it's supposed to be "windy" (25-40 mph) and ½"-1" rain.

Before you know it they'll cancel school because the sun is coming up....

No wonder kids are weak...as well as the parents.

Are you in NE Maryland by chance?  They just cancelled it in my neck of the woods too. Crazy.

I literally rediscovered the Eddie Flynn series over Thanksgiving.  I had read books 1 and 2 in the first came out, but the books stopped appearing on local bookshelves so I forgot about it.  I'll buy online if I need to, but I usually like to browse the shelves to find something that interests me.  In regards to the Flynn series, I came across 'Thirteen' in a Barnes & Noble while visiting the in-laws in Northern Indiana over Thanksgiving.  While reading the back cover, I realized I had read some of the earlier books and liked them.  I really liked 'Thirteen'.

I have had a hard time finding them at my digital libraries (and local regular library) as well. I usually buy them used from thriftbooks.com.

I’ll have to look tonight to see what I have but would be more than happy to mail what I have to you. I won’t read them again.
