The Fish need a QB.
I thought Aquaman was their guy?

Florida has five transfers on their team and no problem with chemistry that I can see. They play fast and are athletic. Up ten on Kentucky right now late in first half. Would really like to see IU with this type of team and offense. The B1G appears to me to be weak compared to SEC. Maybe the numbers don’t say that, I dunno, but the eye test does for me.

I was thinking more 1950 Minneapolis Lakers as a backup to Mikan 😉
And Braden Smith could be backup to Slater “Dugie” Martin! 😂

Michigan going to need some luck/magic now.

Big Ten conference looks so weak with all these losses.
Maybe it’s more than looks.

Ravens have home field throughout the playoffs and they’re playing good football right now. They’ll be difficult to beat at home. Lamar is playing really well right now.
-
Lamar Jackson leading the Ravens in what looks like a serious beat down of the Dolphins as he throws his 4th touchdown for a 35-13 score. 12:49 in the 3rd quarter.

The way Nebraska gets after it on D, this could be ugly. A very high efficient two point defense doesn’t bode well for us. Better be able to knock down perimeter shots and lock the perimeter down on the other end.
Where have we heard this before?

Yeah, I know some enjoy to see some of these other Big10 teams lose, but it is not good for us when that happens.
🙄 Now I won’t sleep tonight.

The Suckeyes seeing what it’s like playing without your regular starting quarterback. And now the freshman quarterback starter got drilled and went to the locker room. OSU leads Missouri 3-0 in second quarter.

Some good stuff and some bad stuff.
Hope Mack, X, and Ware can go against Nebraska - we need em.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Leal get some minutes. The team needs smarts more than what Gunn brings.
Loved Sparks stepping up when called upon. He should be able to do that against a team like Kennesaw State - but that’s the point, he did it. Good for him.
Defense flat out has to get better.
Our offense can be really good when they’re moving and attacking, but it’s not when it’s stagnant. We saw a bit of both tonight, but the run to start and finish were quality ball. Gotta play that way for 40 minutes every night the next 18 games.
Didn’t see the game…what happened to MgBako?

I refuse to root for them and never will for signing Watson
Yeah, I get it. But I’ve lived in Ohio pretty much my whole life…and as a kid I rooted for the Browns. So, I’m going to now. Sorry.

A month ago the dude was sitting on the couch. Now he's just throwing dimes all over the field and leading a team decimated by injuries to the playoffs.
Yet for 3 years my team can't figure out if our QB is the right guy or not.
I’m a Bengals fan…but they’re done, so I’m pulling for the Browns. They’ve shown great spirit and guts this season. Their fans deserve a great playoff run. And wouldn’t it be amazing if they made it to the Super Bowl.

Not sure if we have any Browns fans on here but kudos to Kevin Stefanski and that team. All the injuries on both sides of the ball not to mention 4 qb's this year. 11 win seasons aren't necessarily routine in Cleveland.
Flacco has been doing a great job channeling Tom Brady. 😂 LOL

Interesting that you brought up this game at this time. My oldest brother came to visit for a couple of days and he lives in St. John, Indiana in a retirement community. One of his fellow residents, who is also a friend, is a former Chicago Bear, Gene Schroeder. He played from 1951-1957 as an end on offense and free safety on defense. They played both ways back then. He is, as told my brother, the oldest living Bear and still receives greeting cards from the Bears organization. He has shared many stories about playing back in those early NFL days…and playing for the legendary George Halas with my brother.

Yeah, all the players you mentioned played. And it did go to OT... Baltimore winning on an Alan Ameche 3 yard TD plunge...
Started the ball rolling for pro football's popularity...
Side note: The Giants had 2 pretty good coordinators. Vince Lombardi for offense, and Tom Landry for defense... I think they met a few times down the road...
I was totally unaware of the Lombardi/Landry connection. Thanks for that tidbit.

One of the 2 most important games in NFL history (the other being Super Bowl III) was played 65 years ago today, December 28th, 1958...Greatest game ever played...
John Unitas, Baltimore Colts, versus the NY Giants at Yankee Stadium for NFL Championship. Did Frank Gifford play in that game? I’m sure Raymond Berry did and possibly Lenny Moore? Might have been too early for him. Not sure without looking. Did the game go overtime? Lots of guessing on my part. LOL

And Taylor Swift. The networks run her and Kelce into the ground.
Seriously…who gives a “bleep”. Yeah, little girl Swifties and perhaps KC fans, but I can also imagine they’re sick of it too. Their team isn’t going to the Super Bowl.

BIG10 with multiple blowouts happening. Ohio St., Purdue, Michigan St., even PSU is up 12 at half. Makes me that much more nervous for IU’s game tonight.

Just wondering what some of y'all think...
In the postgame, Woody talked about lack of energy...Anthony Walker did as well, and promised "it won't happen again."
Who has the most influence there? The coach? Or the senior (or any class for that matter) leaders?
I would think Walker.

I’ve seen enough.

We are lead footed…especially laterally. Plus we can’t seem to score tonight. Heading towards a loss so far.

If XJ gets fully healthy, I actually think this team has a higher ceiling than last year's team.
The fact that we don't have a TJD also means we have a lower floor.
So I see both sides of the pessimist/optimist debate with this team.
I am still currently on the optimistic side.
I’m skeptical that we’re going to see a fully healthy XJ again. JMHO

All wearing black…just like CCC on Saturday at AH. LOL So, can we expect to hear AC/DC from the Marching Hundred next fall? 😂😂
