Leal is less of a problem than Cupps, Banks, Gunn, Sparks, and no scholly, though.

    And really XJ

Let’s call a spade a spade…if Cupps can’t hit shots he shouldn’t see the floor…and right now, I have no idea how he came in with the reputation of a shooter. His form is sub par which leads to a literal horizontal or sideways rotation on the ball. It’s not pretty…and my lord, was he taken to school multiple times on the defensive end this year. He’s got a lot of work to do to become a a solid contributor.

-NIT worthy team with current roster, losing best player (Ware) along with your starting PG

-Malik seemed completely broken in his post game interview. Barring some insane NIL raise, expect him to move on.

-Mac will likely test the NBA waters and leave us in limbo for months about his status.

-Even if Reneau and Mac return, do we really want to watch Malik at the 4 and Mac at the 3 again? According to Woodson, his system is just fine, so why change their roles?

-Woodson thinking his system is fine means we’ll go back to bully ball and the best scorers/shooters will go to programs that maximize their skills and potential (or simply places with proven coaches). Apparently losing Liam wasn’t enough for him to learn from his mistakes. Another season of getting run out of a gym unless a team has an off shooting night, we out-rebound them, win the turnover battle, and shoot 50%+ from the field.

-Not sure how we plan on adding guards if we’re keeping Galloway and that was allegedly the reason we couldn’t get any upgrades in the first place. So another year of Galloway as shooting guard, despite the clear evidence he’s not a reliable perimeter threat?

-If we don’t have early success, fans will lose patience quickly and we’ll have a half empty assembly hall. Won’t be able to hire a quality coach because the only thing keeping this going is our passionate fanbase and NIL donations. Plenty of schools can offer $ with less pressure/expectations.

-Meanwhile, schools with HOF/very successful coaches (Matta, Huggins, Pitino) are considering Dusty May as their next head coach, one of the few guys who would take this job in a heartbeat.

Like you said, what more does it take?!

Congrats Dolson/BOT/Boosters, you officially killed the program.

Valid points. You’re right about TG being hardly a perimeter threat. I actually would look at Galloway as being more of the PG next year…but doubt Woodson does that.

What an incredibly disappointing season.  Without changes, I have no excitement for next year.

Hard to get excited when the man leading the way refuses to change anything.

Whoever said "it's really hard to beat a team 3 times in a season" was not correct.

That was me lol. It typically is…but we’re Indiana, we run an awful system, have no shooters and generally suck. I should’ve known better.

Gunn and Banks added virtually nothing to the team this season and that really hurt the team. Gunn may return but I'm not sure what he brings. Banks has to be wondering how he's worse than what he's been watching from the bench but the reality is he's worse. So he's gone.

Gunn wont return. Woodson can’t mess around. Gunn will get nudged out if he doesn’t tranfer on his own.

Watching a lot of other teams and no other team runs an offense like our offense. Woodson has to have some humility and realize you can't run an offense through the post let alone two post men. Our guard play is brutal and no guard worth anything would want to play in this offense. We never get shooters an open look from the offense but it has to come from a kick out from the big's. Absolutely no player movement or off the ball screens. Woodson needs to watch Nebraska's offense to see what a college offense is supposed to look like. Hoiberg spent a lot of time in the NBA before getting his first college job but he actually knows what a modern offense is supposed to look like

Coach Knight wouldn't believe one of his former players would run an offense like this.

Yes. You are right about our awful offensive system….but does anyone really think Woodson will change? I don’t. It’s part of the reason why when we win, we win small, but lose, get absolutely destroyed. 3>>>2.

Another time when benching a player with two fouls killed us. Even though Reneau wasn't playing great it was still close until we took him out with his 2nd foul. Took Johnson out as well so what was he saving them for

Maybe for the 2nd half? Lol. Games/season over. Can’t end soon enough. Chaulk up another 15+ loss in the Woodson era.

We are witnessing an absolute embarrassment.  Ware has ZERO pts. Isnt there anybody that can hit him with a strong high pass and follow for RB.

Problem is..we play another big who is a ball hog that thinks he has to attempt to score every time.

Go ahead and prep the preview for tomorrow's game against Illinois @IUFLA.  We're winning this one.

I tend to agree. I just don't see how we lose to Nebraska 3 straight times. Odds are heavily in our favor....of course, I'm biased towards us....but regardless of bias, it is very hard to beat a team 3 times in a row.

It's starting to look like the only person MR will pass to is Ware. Leal & Taco are wide open on the perimeter while he's getting triple teamed, and he forces up a horrible shot.

Death, Taxes and Reneau over dribbling in the post. It's becoming tiresome.

I don’t understand MR’s thought process there. Ware had his guy completely dominated for an easy two points there.

No joke...I think we win the game by 15 + points if Reneau sits on the bench. He was that bad. And again, every shot he takes is a better look taken away from Ware.
