    These are all your opinions.

You have no facts to back up what you are claiming.

Your posts are based on an agenda that doesn’t support the facts.

    Keep trying though.

And for the mods who agree that I am disrespectful, or a bully…

Provide some facts that we are the worst P5 run university.

Otherwise, state that your blather is nothing more than your opinion.

He stated some hard facts. It’s OK to admit we’ve sucked for the better part of 2-1/2 decades.

  2. Mcneeley is a start in terms of shooting...but for the love of God, we cannot have him in the "Miller Kopp stand in the corner role." Mcneeley is a very gifted player and needs to be used as such. He's not Miller Kopp, he's much more talented. Again, this is just a start, but we need many more shooters than Mcneeley.

If Woodson is granted another year, then he HAS to make serious changes for next year, both schematically and personnel wise. My main worry is he's old school and he won't change his ways, even if it means going down with the ship. Simply put, he HAS to change. My gut does tell me that he makes a change to his Staff, specifically his Assistants. I don't think he has a choice, I would be surprised if there isn't a change to one of them.

Regarding personnel, I would build off Mgbako/Reneau and Cupps. If Sparks is willing to be 12th man, the it's OK to retain him as well. I'm indifferent on Galloway. However, if he starts again next year then that just means our perimeter play isn't very strong...so for the sake of the team, I'm hoping he comes off the bench...other than that, I wouldn't be hurt if he isn't back next year. More often than not, his three point shot is just like a turnover - it's a missed opportunity to score points. Despite some worry from other board members, I don't think Mgbako or Reneau transfer. Woodson has to hit the transfer portal hard with regard to perimeter play. He is going to have to really sell these recruits because his system isn't guard oriented.

This season was lost during the summer. Everyone knew what was needed and it wasn't addressed. This off-season will prove to be even more pivotal. Significant changes have to be made both schematically and personnel wise.

We haven’t seen numbers this low since early Crean years…and despite some bad play, Archie’s teams didn’t come close to being ranked in the hundreds. Real tough times. Program needs to really look at itself hard. We’ve nosedived in these rankings. Is this the style we want to play?

Yeah… to come up with that list says to me that not everyone has accepted how bad this team is.

I don’t understand what anyone is using to say this team isn’t terrible - metrics, eye test, how we have performed against good teams… none of that points to a good team.

We are #100 in Kenpom now. None of Archie’s teams came anywhere close to being this bad. The worst season was #71.

These years alone are infinitely worse vs this year. In staying with board rules I won't attack the poster but the comment. This year is no way worse. Now I will say one thing that is a common denominator post Knight. If somebody is say approaching 40 years old. 11 of the worst IU basketball seasons of all time have been in the last 22...or roughly the age somebody graduated from IU. Food for thought.

05-06? This season/team is much worse than that year/team. That team was ranked for a large portion of the year and was a 6 seed in the tournament that made the round of 32. Plus we were w/out DJ White the whole year. Not even comparable. That team wipes the floor against this team.

even the 19-20 team won 20 games and was going to make the tournament…

If we were ever in on guys like Dalton Knecht and Caleb Love last season, I find it highly unlikely that those level players will give us even a second glance this offseason considering how this season is playing out.  We might get a talented player because of NIL, but that player will be choosing us for the money more than the opportunity to win.  Championship teams are not built under that philosophy.

I want winners.  Winners aren't going to jump on the Indiana train when there is not much of a chance to win.

Certainly someone would tell Woodson to change this system? Has to…we can’t play this style next year. He has to sell a brand new system to the guards/perimeter players in the portal. Has no choice!
