For all we know, Fife may be entertaining multiple offers, including MSU. We have no idea what discussions may be happening behind the scenes. His name has been floated in the media as a possible candidate for MSU, as has Crean's. My money for the MSU job would be Austin Thornton, the current video coordinator. -

Something still amiss here. Regardless of who's to blame. Just doesn't make sense. Following is Izzo's statement when Fife left MSU. Izzo didn't need to say these things. Hard to believe that Fife changed that much after coming to IN. “I’m thrilled for Dane to get this opportunity at Indiana,” Izzo wrote in the post. “He is getting the chance to go back to his alma mater and it’s an opportunity to return to a place that he and his wife have considered a second home. Dane has been a tremendous asset to our program over the last 10 years and been a big part of the success we’ve had. He is a born coach, has been a hard worker and committed to Michigan State from the second he arrived here. We will obviously miss him, Blair and their daughters, Quinnly and Reagan, but wish him all the best as he takes this next step in his career and returns to his alma mater.” -

Probably already tested out of all his classes

Another reclass that didn’t work out

Also, Miami is full of NBA players and coaches year round. Lots of NBA players work out at the U in the off-season. Not a bad place to work on your skills and make connections

@JonRothstein Source: Kansas State transfer Nijel Pack will visit Ohio State on April 18th and 19th. Also plans to visit Tennessee. Recently visited both Miami and Purdue. 7:47 PM · Apr 11, 2022

Smart on his part. Matta at Butler and Mike Roberts an assistant at Cinci. Rob should know what he's getting at either place.

Players declaring for the draft
13th&Jackson replied to Steubenhoosier's topic in General Basketball Discussion
It shows how much the NBA has changed that Thshiebwe is projected mid to late second round. Dude averaged 17 pts and 15 boards per game. Dale Davis had zero offensive game coming out of college (although he averaged 17 pts on dunks and putbacks), but averaged 12 boards. He was the 13th pick and played 17 seasons in the league. -
If TG can improve his shooting % I think he's an ideal 6th man. Brings energy off the bench.

Correct. The IU women's team just added two starters from MN and Providence and a former IN Miss BBall from OR. They aren't solely counting on existing players developing or their freshman recruits. Those players certainly are looking to come here and start regardless of who is currently on the roster.

A good veteran portal player should look at IN and see starter minutes available at the two and three positions. Kopp, Bates & Galloway haven’t shown that they are starters on an upper tier B1G team. Those wing position minutes should be wide open and need an upgrade. Bates should improve, but I’m not betting the season on that or relying on JHS. CBB is suddenly a veterans game with some young guys sprinkled in. Our veteran wings aren’t good enough

That looks like the inside of Chatham Tap Butler, as the tweet said.

He’s an intriguing prospect. Lithuanian gym rat, son of international coach. Plays hard with high bball IQ. He’ll probably go to WI or IA and be a star.

He played really well against Xavier, but in the next game against Providence, he was 1-11, 0-7 from three
