  1. My Dad taught grade school for awhile. One of his favorite stories: His class had spent about a week studying the Middle East. He asked a kid to go to the map and point out Lebanon. After the kid was there for awhile, my Dad asked if he needed help. Kid said, "no, my aunt lives in Crawfordsville, if I can find that, I can find Lebanon".
  2. FWIW, from G&B: "Found unconscious by the mother of his son. Had reached 600+ pounds and was severely diabetic and didn’t treat it. Organs were shutting down and had a cardiac event that took his life." Also this: "Hearing through back channels that his blood glucose was over 1700!"
  3. Are transfers re-rated? Or are the stars from original recruiting?
  4. Agree. The atmosphere for IA football is much better than Bball. Not even close
  5. He’s been at NW four years. May already have his degree
  6. Here in Florida, we call that summer
  7. Most important line in the article: "According to an Instagram post, Queen turned 17 in December, so if he did reclassify it would be back to his original class."
  8. I walk this empty street On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
  9. Hear ya, but WI was a freak team last year. They were something like 15-3 in games decided by 6 or fewer points. They were 4th in D1 in “luck” stat
  10. IDK. Nature of the beast. Arkansas lost 8 players, including 4 to the portal. They are bringing in 5 portal transfers and 6 recruits. Alabama had 5 enter the portal and 3 declare for the draft. They will have a 5 player recruiting class plus at least 2 portal transfers in. I think most view those two schools as a good place to play.
  11. It goes beyond %. IU was 311th in D1 with 5.9 made 3s per game. 2.4 of that was PS and RP. XJ and MK, the two best returning 3 pt shooters, each averaged 1.1 made three per game. IU and Rutgers tied for the fewest 3 pt attempts and fewest made 3s per game in B1G play.
  12. I thought the key for them last year (other than Cockburn returning), was the growth and maturity of Trent Frazier. Before Ayo emerged and Frazier was previously asked to be "the man", his game was very similar to Devonte Green's. But last year, when they were asking more of him again, he didn't revert back to being wildly inconsistent. He was still a streaky shooter, but his 2 pt % went from 35% in 2019-20 to 51% last year.
  13. Maybe they’ve noticed all the former KY players who improved a lot after leaving
  14. I'd love to see that soft as Charmin Zags team against the 89-90 UNLV team with Larry Johnson, Stacey Augmon, Greg Anthony, Anderson Hunt, etc.
  15. You mean the ones who say "University of Indiana"?
