  1. Bolts/Maple Leafs game 7 was insane, coming after an OT game 6. Vasilevskiy is amazing in the goal for the Bolts
  2. I agree Scott. I'm a big basketball fan, but I have no interest in the NBA. To me, it's just not entertaining. OTOH, I've never been a big hockey fan, but the NHL playoffs are fantastic.
  3. I like how he watches the last shot like it's going to bounce in off the goal support
  4. True. But a PG shooting 53% from the FT line isn't good
  5. "Likekele isn’t exactly a dead-eye shooter, having knocked down just 18.2 percent of his 3-point attempts, 53.6 percent of his free throws and 43.7 percent of his shots from the floor overall last season, but he remains an asset in a multitude of ways nonetheless."
  6. As a Catholic kid, I grew up a big Notre Dame fan, but didn't have the money, grades or legacy to go there. Became an IU fan after applying there prior to my senior year in HS. Best memory was being on campus for the 81 championship game. Wildest night (among many) of my four years on campus. Second was beating Purdue in the NIT in 79. That was another fun night on campus, but nothing like 81. Another cool moment: I was walking past the HPER in the summer of 81, when IT pulled up in his new, dark brown, Mercedes sedan.
  7. They’ve never actually met in person. “Sydney” is actually a guy named Boris.
  8. WTH? While opening name, image and likeness opportunities to student-athletes, the policy in all three divisions preserves the commitment to avoid pay-for-play and improper inducements tied to choosing to attend a particular school. Those rules remain in effect. "The new policy preserves the fact college sports are not pay-for-play," said Division II Presidents Council chair Sandra Jordan, chancellor at the University of South Carolina Aiken. "It also reinforces key principles of fairness and integrity across the NCAA and maintains rules prohibiting improper recruiting inducements. It's important any new rules maintain these principles."
  9. This is somewhat obscure, but Bob & Tom’s “Shawn Bradley Show” was hilarious
  10. The 3 point line was moved back after his freshman year to the international distance
  11. He attempted 4.4 threes per game, more than any IU player, while making 29%. Stewart attempted 4.0/game, making 39%. Kopp attempted 3.1/game, making 36%
  12. I’m guessing he’s not an easy guy to play for. Most probably love him or hate him
