  1. Every player on their roster. They're "positionless" 😀
  2. Reading between the lines, Doyle was friends with DD and defended him to others that DD wasn’t really like his on-air persona, but now that DD is a contributor to Outkick he’s irredeemable. I’m no fan of DD, but this column is more about Doyle than DD.
  3. When I hear fashion, I always think Bowling Green, KY
  4. KL had to be photographed coming out of the tunnel because it was the last he was ever seen
  5. Good decision. After conference realignment, he’ll be a good fit in the MAC or MVC
  6. That's what makes them so interchangeable... 😀
  7. If healthy, I think Galloway starts game 1, but if he and Kopp are starting halfway through the season this team won’t live up to expectations
  8. His other offers were IN ST and Liberty
  9. So you have a kid who dreamed of playing at NC and planned to go there in 2023. Instead, it sounds like people around him have pushed him to reclassify and go to SC so he can declare for the NBA sooner in hopes they can cash in.
  10. I like how we match up against Toledo
  11. Not suggesting that the big draws will form a conference of their own, just that they will demand a larger slice of the pie. The weaklings have no leverage to say no.
  12. That will be the next shoe to drop. There is no way that the teams that drive all of the ratings will continue to allow their conferences to distribute tv revenues equally. If I'm AL, FL, GA, LSU, OK or TX, etc., why should I get the same as Vandy, MS ST, MO, etc. You will see proposals based on ratings or some other formula. What would Vandy, etc do? Leave?
  13. “The need just isn't there," an SEC athletic director told Hayes. ”and we already have to remove both shoes to count to 16”
  14. If it has to be an AAU school, I prefer the UC Irvine Anteaters.
  15. Wilt Chamberlain is in the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. OK, back on track
  16. No doubt. Just saying one win over UNC won’t return AH to the home court advantage it once was. As IHF said it will probably take a couple seasons to send the message to fans, opposing teams and possibly most importantly, referees. We need to get to Kohl’s Center level where it’s a shock to win there
  17. Unfortunately, a win over UNC won't be nearly enough. In 2016, IU beat then No. 3 UNC in the B1G/ACC challenge in AH. That season, the Hoosiers finished 18-16, losing four games in AH (including to NEB) and Crean was fired. They also had a neutral court win over Kansas that year.
  18. IU got a top knotch School of Global and International Studies. “The $53 million building was funded entirely through university sources,” the release read, “with half of the funding coming from IU's Big Ten Network revenues, representing the largest-ever commitment from IU Athletics revenue to support the core academic mission of the university.”
  19. Actually, it sounds like she did have support from the AD at the time. Dr. Trayvean Scott, Grambling State's vice president for intercollegiate athletics, said in the statement that student-athletes who received scholarships for the upcoming season will keep them and remain on the team. Scott initially offered his support of Lucas' decision, saying at the time: "Just as the transfer portal empowers student-athletes, our coaches are also empowered to make the decisions they deem necessary to advance their programs."
  20. Calipari has made the same comment about KY: One thing Rosemond says he has learned — not every kid is cut out for the bright lights and big stage at a program with a passionate fan base like IU. That revelation has shaped the way he evaluates prospects on the recruiting trail. “Not everybody can play here,” Rosemond said. “Even guys that are really, really talented, they can’t play here. So even now in recruiting, I’m looking for guys that can play in this bubble.”
