This was great for me. I have Spectrum TV and internet. I called to complain about paying for channels that aren't currently available (ESPN, etc) and threatened to move to Youtube TV or Fubo. Spectrum lowered my monthly fee by $70 for a year.

“Ohio State ultimately defeated Indiana 23-3, but dropped two spots to No. 5 in Tuesday's Associated Press Top-25 poll.” 😂

According to White, Arnold and Dowd, in the first term of the 2008-09 school year, Bledsoe had 10 of 14 recorded scores, including final grades, "conspicuously changed." In the second term that year, seven of Bledsoe's 10 scores were, again, "conspicuously changed." In both terms, the report says, scores were "written over" to reflect higher grades, as though some third-grader was trying to trick his parents into believing he got a B and not a D. -

7'2" Croation center's enrollment at KY is being held up by admissions. He speaks four languages, but they have concerns about his English proficiency. Wouldn't that be true for half of their students? The 7-foot-2 forward submitted an English proficiency test with passing scores, but the school wouldn’t recognize the results — a late development against the add/drop deadline. He then took a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and earned high passing scores in all sections but reading. Mind you, that standardized test came without necessary accommodations not readily available to Ivisic where he is in Croatia, especially on short notice. Given the academic resources available to all students at the University of Kentucky — which had an acceptance rate of 95% during the 2022-23 academic year — his college readiness and ability to communicate effectively are clear non-issues. Calipari and those around the basketball program are understandably frustrated. They believe Ivisic has done more than enough to get in and play, but the university isn’t budging. And the international signee’s window is closing by the day. That’s why there is concern Ivisic will ultimately back out and sign elsewhere in short order if this isn’t settled in the immediate future. He’ll be playing college basketball somewhere this season. His academic transcript and amateur status have already been cleared by the NCAA, making him a prized last-minute commodity given his talent and potential should he become available. Other programs have already made it clear through backchannels he’s wanted and would have no problem getting into their respective schools if things fall through with the Wildcats. https://www.on3.com/teams/kentucky-wildcats/news/concern-growing-regarding-zvonimir-ivisics-status-at-kentucky/ -
Payton Sparks Commits to Indiana

Maybe Ware is just eating at McDonalds every day: Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock took a journey to the dark side of “Super size.” To challenge McDonald’s claim that its food is nutritious, Spurlock ate all of his meals at the fast-food giant for a month. He ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at McDonalds and documented his experience in a film called “Supersize me.” The result? He gained 9 pounds in five days, and gained 25 pounds by the end of the month. His cholesterol rose by 60 points. -

How many teams did the Big Ten used to have? -
The last drive of the first half was mind numbing. Trailing 7-3 at home against heavily favored opponent. 1st down at OSU 45 with 2:10 to go. Do we take a shot? No, three conservative running plays leaves 4th and 4 with under a minute. OK, coaches decided to go into half trailing by 4? No, now we get aggressive and throw on 4th down. Incomplete stops the clock. Defensive penalty leads to field goal and OSU came close to a TD. Just awful

After evaluating their personnel, the coaching staff concluded that their best offense is a single wing with three TEs in the backfield with Richardson as lead blocker.
