  1. And Purdue wasn't the reason either game made the list
  2. Giving up a lot to leave AF Academy to be a walk on. But the Academy is a 12 year commitment (4 Academy, 5 active duty, 3 reserve).
  3. They have all the governing authority and relevance of the British royal family. And equally embarrassing
  4. Meanwhile Nijel Pack was paid $800k and a car to transfer to Miami and Will Wade got a 10 game suspension.
  5. Going into last season, the team's greatest need was adding veteran wings/shooting. They weren't able to add anyone. This season the greatest need is veteran wing depth/shooting. Once again, they weren't able to fill the need. I know the coaching staff was contacting potential transfers, but for some reason they just aren't able to appeal to transferring guards.
  6. Maybe they moved it to Pizza Thursday and just didn't tell James
  7. Maybe the team nutritionist intervened
  8. Any word on whether IU's reached out to Ques Glover? 5th year guard who was 37% from 3 last season. 2 years at FL and 2 at Samford. Transferred to BYU, but re-entered portal on 8/7. Mark Pope blamed himself for not doing more through NIL. I know he's a PG, but an experienced 5th year backcourt scorer would fill a need. "In 2021-2022, Glover ranked 34th nationally in scoring when he averaged 19.2 points per game. He also averaged 4.4 assists per game which ranked second in the Southern Conference. His prolific offense that season made him First-Team All Conference selection. That was also the last full season he played. In 2022-2023, Glover played in only 19 games due to injury and he averaged a team high 14.7 points per game." “Some of my strengths are playing with pace and speed and slowing the game down sometimes. My midrange game is one of the best. I feel like I can get to the rim and get my teammates involved by kicking it out to open shooters,” he said. “I’m trying to become more consistent from catch-and-shoot 3s. “I did a pretty good job of that this year. I increased my 3-point percentage by 9%-10%,” he continued. “I feel like I can bring a lot of energy and I play with a lot of passion. I’m a good leader, trying to get my teammates involved and rally behind one another.” https://www.deseret.com/2023/8/11/23826068/byu-bsaketball-coach-mark-pope-blames-himself-for-losing-transfer-guard-ques-glover-nil-money#:~:text=Ques Glover%2C who started his, ever playing for the Cougars. https://www.deseret.com/2023/6/2/23743206/byu-basketball-recuit-ques-glover-brings-much-to-big-12-bound-cougars
  9. That makes sense. It's a one hour flight from LA to Las Vegas and it's the same time zone. It's a 5+ hour flight from NJ to LV and it's three time zones away. Seems balanced.
  10. Sage Steele @sagesteele Life update. Having successfully settled my case with ESPN/Disney, I have decided to leave so I can exercise my first amendment rights more freely. I am grateful for so many wonderful experiences over the past 16 years and am excited for my next chapter! #SteeleStrong 9:11 AM · Aug 15, 2023 · 1.2M Views
  11. You have to like MSU if the case against them is too much backcourt depth/talent
  12. After making the announcement, Flowers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, for a follow-up post that read, "I'm a point guard now let's get that right." It has since been deleted from his account.
  13. Part of it, but his fouls per 40 were 6.8. That will keep you on the bench. Of course conditioning is part of being foul prone.
  14. If you've ever seen the film The Fly, you also know to keep insects out of the transporter
