I must be missing something. Most of you guys "sound" like you're confident of us landing a bunch of portal guys.

If I'm a portal guy, and take more than a 3 second look at how IU plays, I'd pass in a heartbeat.

My concern is we don't land enough guys to get to 10, much less 13 scholly's.

With NIL I think we can still land a bunch of mercenaries for 1 or 2 years. If Woodson can change our play to a more modern style I think we dig ourselves out of the hole. That is a big "if". Who knows what Woodson can sell portal guards other than NIL?

this is the kid the other team always has that kicks our head in every game.

I know right! With all issues going on with Woodson potentially not being around after 2025 you have to think we need Grad Transfers. NIL+Grad Transfer is where we have to look right?

The Conference Tournament Champions of the Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, and SEC are all in the same bracket.

Virginia getting in over Indiana State is a travesty,  Every single metric favors the Sycamores.

The NCAA couldn't afford having another team from Indiana go farther in the tournament than Purdue 2 years in a row.

I'm getting tired of media using terms like "interesting" and "fascinating" to describe our off-season. Interesting would be Galloway deciding he was going to enter the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4th. Fascinating would be Mgabko growing 4 inches this summer.

  5. After all is said and done I appreciate that our players did not quit. They went on the five game winning streak, against teams predicted to bet us, even when the chips were down and the likelihood of a NCAA tournament birth was slim to none. At the end of the day you can tell that players care and their season wasn't what they wanted. I don't think anyone can question whether or not our players truly cared about winning and wanting success. I urge people to listen to Mgbako during the press conference. I time stamped it to start when he's asked a question. He looks like a kid living in the moment and willing to grow from these losses. When asked about the loss he said "I had all hopes we would win. It hurts the we lost" and he looks visibly upset.

I'd expect a shakeup with the assistant coaches almost immediately.

IU has to get serious about recruiting but also player development. Ware and MM improved over the season. Everyone else stayed about the same. Not good enough.

I do think Galloway improved. He had several double digit assist games in the last 10.
