I don't think he makes much as a Canadian, they have to get creative and i believe its not alot or near what it could be.
This is correct and Purdue had to go through some kind of US Immigration employment loophole to get Edey his NIL.
Edey is on an F-1 Student Visa and the restrictions are pretty dumb. Basically US immigration law makes it very hard to pay foreign players NIL. Far beyond Zach Edey this will prevent many international players from earning NIL money and or equivalent money compared to their American teammates and diminishes the likelihood of another Edey
"The F-1 Visa (Academic Student) allows you to enter the United States as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high school, elementary school, or other academic institution or in a language training program. You must be enrolled in a program or course of study that culminates in a degree, diploma, or certificate and your school must be authorized by the U.S. government to accept international students.
Employment
F-1 students may not work off-campus during the first academic year, but may accept on-campus employment subject to certain conditions and restrictions. After the first academic year, F-1 students may engage in three types of off-campus employment:
Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
Optional Practical Training (OPT) (pre-completion or post-completion)
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Optional Practical Training Extension (OPT)
F-1 students may also be eligible to work off-campus on a case-by-case basis as a result of special situations such as severe economic hardship or special student relief."
Basically, international players have no incentive to come to the US and play basketball if their intent is to earn NIL and make it to the NBA.

It's all relative. If he wins and dominates IU for years to come everyone will be up in arms for missing out. If he fails, everyone will say he was the next Archie - success at a small school that did not translate to the B1G.
So there's not one happy ending in all this. Another typical day as an Indiana Men's Basketball fan.

That’s scary how detailed he is…almost like he’s speaking from experience…like from an uncle or something. Smh
The only experience not shown there was one with education.

Never thought I would say the phrase "I bet Underwood doesn't want any Morehead after this."

I like this dude.
I love to have Fidler under the Assembly Hall roof next season. He rebounds extremely well and his length would be a great advantage on defense.

Here's some guards we've contacted and their per game totals. The names are linked to their CBB reference page.

With Sparks leaving I'm assuming that Woodson is now going to focus on playing a more modern style of basketball and Sparks wasn't in the plans for that. The issue is now we have no backup for Malik which I feel Sparks would have done well at.

Good thing Virginia got in over Indiana State. The Sycamores could never put up 9 points in 10 minutes.

Who is Small?
Might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's South Bend native Javon Small who played last year at Oklahoma State. He attended Franklin Central starting in his sophomore year.
A point guard that averaged 15 ppg, 37ish percent from 3 but had a so-so assist to turnover ratio of 1.33.

Are these transfers already in the portal or are we doing some “behind the scenes” work and trying to lock up these transfers before they announce they’re entering the portal?
Any player who is set to graduate in 2 semesters or less can enter the portal whenever they want allowing us to have contact with them once the paperwork is submitted.
Any player who can't graduate in 2 semesters or less must wait for the March 18th date to enter officially but can submit their transfer paperwork early. From what I understand a non-graduating player cannot be contact until the portal window opens on the 18th.
I'm guessing the portal transfers the IU coaches are talking about are seniors?

I keep forgetting BYU and the Sunday rule thing. That's why they ended up as 6 when they were listed as best 5 seed.
Thank you for that insight. I was wondering that myself!

A fan that questions the direction of Indiana Men's Basketball and or choices of the coaching staff, BoTs and Administration. Basically, anyone with concerns that we were 19-14 this year. Anyone wondering how in the 3 point era we have ranked the last three years 324, 345 and 355 in percentage of points coming from the 3 point line.
