From the film he looks really good, and doesn’t need to be wide open to knock down his shot. In the past, most of our supposed 3 pt shooters have been reluctant to shoot even when wide open. We need a fearless shooter that will make you pay when he has the opportunity! Hickman seems to fit that mold.

Hickman is that guy we always complain about burning us all game long. As you said we need that fearless guard who doesn't care if someone is in his face. I don't know if he can produce at the same level in Big Ten but being at 80% to 90% of that level would be tremendous for Indiana.

MP might play the long game

Keep Zach out of foul trouble….make them deal with Zach for the first 8 minutes

Purdue has been laser focused to right the wrongs from last year

That would be interesting. Edey played 39 and 38 minutes the last two games. In the last 12 games he's only played under 30 minutes 3 times. Purdue is 2-1 in those games. Loss to Wisconsin and wins against Rutgers and Utah State.

Not sure how much I believe On3's predictions but they have Kanaan Carlyle as 95% chance of going to Indiana. If him an Rice are package then I supposed we have a great chance at both.

Both are from Georgia but I can't find any information about them playing together in High School.

They will be Sophomores next year with the ability to develop. Neither have good 3 point shooting or good assist to turnover ratios. With that said they both finish well at the rim. Rice seems like JHS lite and has an excellent mid range jumper. Carlyle is more physical, has a decent 3 point shot and has a 54% EFG with catch and shoot. Carlyle also produced on arguably the 2nd or 3rd worst worst Pac 12 team.

Thing I don’t understand is if Dusty is such a home run hire why are all the players abandoning ship? Afraid they’re going to get coach Primed?

Have to wonder if the lack of NIL funding that Dickinson brought up last year is playing a role?

I put Boiler's definition to the test.

7:24: Edey enters the lane with both feet, but almost immediately puts one foot back out.

7:23: Edey lifts the foot in the lane ever so slightly.  I'm not sure a ref could have caught it, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt.  3 second clock reset.

7:22: Edey re-enters the lane with both feet.

7:20: Ball is passed to Edey. 3 second clock resets.

7:18: Edey passes the ball back out.

7:17: Edey puts one foot outside the lane and lifts foot in lane.  3 second clock reset.

7:16: Edey exits the lane (ever so slightly...had a part of one foot parallel and on the line, but again, I'll give benefit of the doubt). Also, shot attempt. 3 Second clock reset.

7:15 Edey re-enters the lane, both feet.

7:12 Edey puts one foot halfway outside the lane and lifts the foot in the lane. We're really skirting the line here. Potential 3 second violation.

    7:10: Video ends.

It's really borderline if you break it down second by second.  It seems like he's very aware of what the rule is and is making an attempt to push it to its limit, but is also getting several benefit of the doubt calls like at 7:12.

So you're saying Edey is the James Harden of 3 second violations.

OU President Joseph Harroz Jr. sat down with OU Daily editors Tuesday afternoon to discuss Norman’s proposed entertainment district, transition to the Southeastern Conference and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

In his Evans Hall office, Harroz told OU Daily that if Norman City Council does not approve the proposed $1 billion entertainment district that would feature a new arena for OU athletics, then the university, alongside donors, would look to other cities to build an arena for which its basketball and women’s gymnastics teams would be anchor tenants and possibly the entertainment district as a whole.

“I’m very hopeful and do everything I can to keep it here in Norman,” Harroz said. “But if this isn’t approved by the city council for whatever reason, then we’re going to be looking at other (cities), Oklahoma City, Moore, surrounding areas and figure out where is there a group that wants to do this.”

OU basketball acting like they're an NBA team now and threatening to move if they don't get a new arena. Is this the new college basketball? Is Bedford going to build a 20,000 seat arena to convince IU to play there?
