We will get plenty of ranked opponents during the conference season.
Maybe. Right now OSU and Iowa are the only other ranked teams and we only get OSU once. Maryland started off ranked but they've gotten trounced 3 times.
I guess I feel like we could have scheduled a bit harder given what we had coming back.

Princeton is gonna be a sneaky good win here. They beat a ranked Oklahoma team and lost to only 3 to UCLA who just took it to UCONN women which was there only loss before this IU loss
This and Tennessee will end up being very good wins for us. I would have liked to see us have another ranked team or two in the non-con. Our December schedule looks very light.

What took him so long??
Oh, I know, the Hoosiers first loss...
His last post before this one was when Fland picked UK over IU. Strange coincidence there.

Watching us struggle to defend a team that scored 55 and 44 points in its first two games while largely looking clueless on how to run its own offense, I just found myself thinking once again that this program is hopelessly broken and I'm not sure it's ever getting fixed. It just blows my mind how we can accumulate the talent we do and look so bad at what really should be a pretty simple game.
Woodson is on record saying he didn't come here to rebuild. So why are we this bad? He's had over 2 years to get this thing rolling and right now we look just like we did 2 years ago.

Bluffton falls at FW Luers 15-7. This might have been the least impressive Luers team I've seen make it this far.

I got quite a few relatives that are utterly disappointed by being throttled by Penn.
And Congrats @TheWatShot
It was actually Eastern Greentown, not Eastside.

We haven't had a thunderstorm since September 26th, and have had only 2 days with thunder since August 17th.
Kind of depressing to think I may have to wait until next spring to hear thunder again.

I like how in 3 years Allen went from going for 2 in OT because he was sick and tired of being close to playing for a tie on the road.

Am I getting this story right? Purdue had a student for some contest nail a 40 yarder during timeout which was followed by their kicker missing the 39 yarder right after?
He followed that up by missing a 27 yarder early in the second half.

I saw some random prognosticator on social media back in August that had Purdue going 9-3 and finishing second in the West. Wish I could remember who it was.

No Iowa game is ever complete without a safety.

Some pretty exciting games on in this late afternoon window… then there’s Iowa v Bucky🙄
Probably the two best teams in the West, and it's 7-6 late in the third. The final East vs. West Big Ten championship looks to be another snooze fest.

Oh for real…”super pumped” not just just regular “pumped?”
I mean, it's going to be November in a few weeks...that's usually Purdue's best month.

Andy Katz just picked Edey as the #1 defensive player in college. Is he drunk?
Same guy who said "I've got the Boilers winning it all!" back in March.

Dreading the possibility of 3rd and 2 becoming 4th and 1 and the Colts getting stuffed on the next play.

I hate how every holding penalty more or less negates the possibility of a touchdown.
-
How many times does this damn team have to fail on 4th down before they just take the freaking points? So over this garbage.

Surprised no one has mentioned that Cade McNamara is now out for the year. Ouch for that Iowa offense.
And of course it happens right before they play Purdue.

0-7 Avon got 4 votes in the 6A poll this week.

Can't understand why this organization has such a fetish for going for it on fourth down. Fourth and long with a QB who's completed about 33% of his throws today, just take the damn field goal.

Does it seem like every year the Mariners are always just a game or two out of the playoffs?
-
I was going to ask if Iowa had set any records by erupting for 26 points. Turns out their offense only scored one touchdown. Four field goals and a punt return touchdown accounted for their other points.

Imagine if this had happened in Indy when Manning was here...he taught the fanbase well.

I think the Dolphins set the all-time yardage record for a team in a game.
I saw that score and thought it was a mistake. They had 70 with over 8 minutes left in the game.

Does it seem like the "private schools need their own tournament" complaints have reached a fever pitch this year, or is it just me?
